Harken Hoister 7802.12 4 Point Hoister System (for 12ft Ceiling)

This product omits many parts that are essential for the installation. The product is misrepresented as a “system” when in fact it’s a few parts that need to be combined with your own wood, hardware, and several power tools to ever be properly installed. The directions are also unclear and require some carpentry skill. The packaging is inconsiderate, with numerous ropes entangled as one bunch, when they easily could have been packaged separately, causing much delay. The directions also omit any warnings about future vehicle height changes, should you ever get a different car. The directions make an assumption you’ll drive the same car forever so account for that. For the money the company could do a much better job. But with the right skill and precision of installation the item works as intended if you’re prepared ahead of time with all your extra materials this leaves out. If you’re planning the install in advance, read the directions first so you’re not caught off guard once you open the box.

The hardware and lifting line are first quality. Same as used on Harken highly-rated sailboat equipment. Installed system works great.
