very good pruners
These are very, very, good pruners, due to the quality of the blades and the ease of use. I now have very arthritic hands, and cannot exert a lot of pressure to cut, nor maintain hard pressure for very long, so the sharpness of the blades is vital. Also, like good steel knives, you can keep that sharpness with good maintenance. The catch is simple too, much easier on arthritic hands than the catch on my Felco pruners. I bought the 101 (for small hands). I suspect I could also manage the 103 range, because the operation of the spring is so easy. I have two measures for you for the 101. The white handle tucks into the palm of the hand, and your fingers curl onto the inward curve of the red handle. Measuring this, from outside to outside the measure is 9 cm (3 1/2 "". When fully opened the widest opening between the red and white handles, (Just where the hinge for the clip is) is 10cm (4"). I must point out that these secateurs do not rely on the pressure of a spring to achieve sharpness, they rely on the intrinsic sharpness of the blades - you do not need much pressure. These are Small secateurs, though, so there is a limit to the thickness of the branch you will be able to cut. I find them equal to anything that my bigger secateurs can do. They are better for me than my hugely expensive previous favourites, Felco. Highly recommended

Extra sharp
These are fantastic secateurs, worth every penny. They will cut even the lightest plants where only sharp scissors would normally cut them cleanly, my other anvil secateurs tend to just bend these lighter jobs. You do have to be careful not to touch the blades though, twice I've touched them lightly and given myself a cut like a paper cut, such sharp blades! They are also very good for smaller hands as they start quite close together. My best garden buy yet :)

The BEST I have used
I read a lot of reviews on multiple sites and the Okatsune Secateurs came out top on virtually all sites. I placed my order and I have to say I fully agree. They are a great product & very well built. They feel very comfortable in your hand and have great locking mechanism which feels very slick. The blade is razor sharp & easily slices through all that I have used them on. I have no doubt with a bit of care & attention they will last me a long time. Throughly recommended & I have ordered the larger 103 model as well.

Perfect for small hands
These seem very good quality secateurs. I returned them because the length of the handles was too small for my average-size women's hands, but I think they would be perfect if you have small hands and find normal sized secateurs too big. I have since bought the 103 size which are a better size for me.

Very sharp.
Great quality. Very sharp. Smaller size is convenient for those with smaller hands.

Wonderfully sharp and nice to use
These even sound sharp! They are very nice to use with excellent ergonomics. Just little things like if the catch swings across they can still cut so that it doesn't interfere with their use but is very simple to engage when you need to. Did I mention they're very sharp? Hard to misplace amongst the cuttings, simple to use and easy to hold.

Cuts like a knife through butter
An amazing pair of secateurs. I bought the model for small hands and they fit my hand perfectly. The catch is very easy to get the hang of and they cut stems and small branches so smoothly. They were a bit expensive but worth every penny as I know they’ll last me for a very long while to come.

Best secateurs you’ll ever need
These are great. Very easy to use. Great quality secateurs. I brought a sharpening stone which I’ve not used yet and I use these regularly. They’re still sharp and I’ve had them for over 6 months of average use. They’re a bit expensive but they’re defo worth it.
