No more cold hosing!Our water freezes a lot at our barn in the winter, which makes cold hosing injuries a challenge. Combine that with a fidgety horse and it's not fun!I keep these in the freezer and just quick wrap when needed. The Velcro makes it easy to fit front or back and works equally well on my 17.1 hand tall mare or my 14.3 hand gelding.They seem to be well made and stay on nicely. Flexible enough even when frozen.

Great product, stays cold/frozen for a long time, but 4 stars because I had to return the first set because one was leaking.

My husband raises Thoroughbred race horses, so we try to be prepared for any injuries or incidents. In the past we have had horses need to be iced, and thought these would be an easier way to accomplish that when needed. Tried them on a young horse and these seem to be easy to put on and take off. We hope to not need them, but they are ready if the time comes. Great idea and I may get another set for the horses at the track.

These are large very puffy wraps that could double as shipping boots. I have not tried them yet for cold therapy. But the velcro is nice and wide and they look quite durable.

Wow, a 4 pack! I usually see these as 1 or 2 per pack. This is a nice change. Frequently, I want to cool my horse down but didn't have enough of these to do all 4 legs at the same time. With this set, I can! They took about 3 hours to freeze. Lasted about an hour in 50 °F weather. Long enough to give a good icing to a sore leg or to help cool your horse down after a workout. These are big enough to fit my Drum mare, but easy enough to overlap to fit my Quarter Horse.I do wish they had a bag to put them into when not in use, but that is a minor thing.

Pros: These froze well and the multiple small cells mean they remain fairly flexible. The wide elastic straps allowed for exactly the right amount of tension to keep them on without being overly tight.Cons: The stitching isn’t super tight like I prefer for horse stuff. I’m not sure how it will hold up over time. With the way the straps are attached, the blue colored side is designed to be inside, e.g. touching the horse. I had gotten the blue because I wanted something bright that I could see from a distance. If I have a horse cross tied in the aisle with these on, and I’m down a few stalls cleaning, I like being able to see at a glance that they’re still in place.Overall: I will use them, but if they don’t hold up I’ll look for another brand as a replacement.
