Love the deal I got on this village piece. I do wish I read the details more because it's battery operated and a lot smaller than I anticipated it to be.. I prefer my village houses to have light bulbs but it is what it is. I can't afford the post office village piece related to the Jim Carey Grinch movie so I'm keeping it for my Grinch village. It really IS a pretty piece. I'm happy with it overall. However, I dropped the rating by one star because the company is lucky that it did not get broken in transit because they did not protect the box very well. I had one thin layer of bubble wrap on ONE side of the shipping box, the rest of the item box was merely covered with those longer "air bubbles" so when you lift the shipping box, you could hear the item box moving inside of it. When fragile items are shipped, they need to be packed down well with protection of whatever kind. Peanuts, air bubbles, bubble wrap, paper, a mix of all of them, to secure the box in place and avoid any drivers and handlers from breaking what's inside. My outdoor camera saw the driver literally drop the box on my porch and that's when i feared it broke especially when I opened the shipping box to see that it was not securely packed. Hopefully the company sees this review and they do a better job with the items they sell in the future.

First item I ordered, for both pieces, the lights didn’t work. Replacement works and looks great on both items. The light shines more in the back than the front on the post office.
