Understanding Health Insurance: A Guide to Billing and Reimbursement

All editions of this book, in my opinion, is one of the best written, best researched, and concise works that illustrate the full spectrum of medical billing and insurance reimbursement. It is also user friendly and eye appealing for the student and teacher, when reading.

Although the project for which I bought this book changed prior to my receipt of it, it is a very informative, easy to follow book on the subject of billing and reimbursement of health insurance...

it shows Perform pre-authorization for patients. Administer proper insurance details in the patient record for filling the claims. Creating a patient,making an appointment,adding codes and billing the insurance using medisoft software. Keeping all medical records updated in compliance with the healthcare regulations. Plan, develop, maintain, or operate a variety of health record indexes or storage and retrieval systems to collect, classify, store, or analyze information.

This book arrived in great condition, I have no complaints about that it was exactly what the seller said it would be, however the book is confusing to follow, I had to use it for school, and no one in the class really liked the format of the book, this again is not the sellers fault, just thought id put it out there for any teachers that are looking to get a health insurance book for their classes.

The book unfortunately arrived with a broken Cd. I contacted Go Peachy as soon as I noticed, they responded promptly and gave me a partial refund which worked for me I am sure that they would have other options available if necessary. My $ was received within a few days of our communication. I am satisfied with the transaction.

3 of the most important chapters in the workbook were missing/ripped out!!!!!!!!

The book is in great condition and the shipping was fast. The book is very detailed and contains a lot of useful information for any upcoming Medical Biller or any current Medical Biller's

If you have trouble sleeping at night, read this word for word... you'll be out in about 10 minutes. Hated this book in class. Just take plenty of notes through what material you need to cover for class.
