I don't own a dishwasher. These are the perfect alternative to an actual dish that can be scrubbed clean. Between working, homeschool, and being the only adult that is willing to wash a dish, these paper plates have given me one less thing to worry about.As far as hardiness and durability go, this is probably your best bet compared to (once again) a real dish. I gave them 4 stars in these categories, because honestly, they are just paper plates. Really good paper plates.I wouldn't call them "leak proof" but they are in fact leak resistant. I have not tested their limits. However, I can say that they've performed extremely well under wet circumstances. Sauces, hot gravy, hot foods, used in the microwave, ice cream - you name it. I imagine you may be able to cut into the paper accidentally and get a leak, but no mishaps here yet. This category earned 5 stars from me.Esthetically pleasing, I like the designs that this company has put out. Kinda patriotic with the red, white, and blue on this one. I also appreciate that I was sent the design that was advertised, even though its probably beyond anyone's control. Consistency is nice.Size: 10" is perfect for a dinner plate or a lunch with sides. Maybe a really large breakfast. Sometimes it's a bit overkill, but for the price, I went with these. Subscribed.

I've purchased this item 2 times since 2020. The plates are the sturdiest, most durable, and leak proof on the market. They are on the expensive side of paper plates, but worth it. Would highly recommend this product!

These are great quality paper plates.

I bought these knowing they weren't going to hold a cinder block. I didn't need them to so that worked out well. They will hold a sandwich and some chips, ya know? Camping food.They seem to be laminated or something because coleslaw nor potato salad leaked through onto my pants. I wouldn't try ice cream but if you feel like it, go ahead. I won't stop you.For the price and the amount of plates you get, this is a fabulous deal that will last all summer although I probably won't buy them again just because of the environmental impact. They worked well on short notice though and I can see how they could be very useful!

These Dixie 10” paper plates are really good. These are full size plates that are the same size as my Corelle dinner plates. The plates are coated, and I’ve had no issue of food soaking through even when using a knife. The rim is relatively strong and is raised more than most paper plates I’ve used. It’s great because food doesn’t roll or slide off and liquids don’t run off. The diamond pattern and colors are good for any occasion, and the colors are also well suited to a 4th of July celebration.These plates are sturdy for paper plates. I think they’re best for food such as pizza, tacos, hamburgers, hot dogs and sandwiches served with sides. They also hold up to normal portions of pasta, dahl w/ rice, steak & veggies, stew and more. That’s not to say a plate couldn’t collapse if overloaded or held without supporting the bottom, and heavier meals may require doubling up. But I’ve bought these 3 times now and not one plate has collapsed despite using these for a variety of meals.I’ve used these for reheating food in the microwave without any issue. These are a good solution when I need to cut down on cleanup or would rather toss than wash a plate used by someone sick in the house and so on. There are stronger types of disposable plates (e.g., plastic, sugarcane, etc.), more decorative disposable plates and so on, but these Dixie plates are good paper plates for everyday use and a good value at the normal price of $19.99 for 220 plates. 4.5 stars.
