Fantasy meets WWI, enemies to lovers trope, I enjoyed it so much I bought this copy for my friend.

I loved the first book and I wanted a limited edition copy. These are so pretty and are great for collectors.

Arrived ahead of time and in great condition. The cover design is very nice and so much more artistic than the US printing. Only complaint is that it’s not made clear in the description that one book is paperback and the other is hardcover, which just bugs me, but might be fine for someone else.

Literally just read it.

As a duology, I rate these two a solid four stars. It was refreshing that it was lighter on the magical monster side of fantasy. I would personally describe it as more of a historical romance with a sprinkle of magic in the best way. In honor of a friend of mine, it was between like and love.
