how bad do they restrict movement and are they good for sparring? the sizes?

Personally I have long legs and when I wear shinpads on top of them, it really restricts my movement. I would recommend just getting volleyball kneepads and use them with Shinpads on top. However if you're going to be just throwing knees then these knee pads will work just fine. Hope this helps and have fun training!
