Depends on how wide your foot is. These slippers are pretty wide in the toe box so if you have skinny feet they will come though the top of the shoe but if you have wider feet then 6 1/2 will be fine.

they might be a tad big on her. in my experience they run a bit big

I ordered a pair for my daughter that wears a 8.5. I ordered the size 8.5 to 9.5. they fitted to the exact size , So if she was a size 9, these were not going to fit, they run small . I hope this helps
