I have multiple dovetail saws, including far more expensive "western style" ones. The dozuki saw works best for me. After 3 years of heavy use, I replaced the original blade. Replacement was easy, and the saw now works like it's brand new--which it essentially is.

this saw is great. I bought this replacement not because I needed to replace one, but because I needed to make a jig that required the blade to be flat on the jig without any obstacle that the handle of the original has a piece of metal that would prevent this. the saw is great.

I have been using this saw style for years. These blades are the exact duplicate of the original minus the little hook at the end, and at about half the price of the tool distributers and retail stores.

It really helps to have a spare always in the cupboard for such important tools, and this blade cuts so incredibly well once you learn to use it that it is hard to believe at first. Be aware this is a spare blade, not a complete saw, so if you don't have the saw already you will need to buy that to get the handle. It cuts ridiculously well, leaving no saw marks on most cuts once you learn to use it.
