The size of the candle is small. The scent is o pleasant and does remind me of a bookstore. This candle was a great value for the money.

Smells of a aromatic incense.

Was very excited for this cande in my new apartment. My apartment is about 700 sqft. Had the candle burning for about 2 hours while I was tending to my yard. Walked in and didn't smell a darn thing. Not worth the money. Candle is also very tiny. My fault for not checking dimensions. Only pro is it has a lid for reuse and candle does burn nicely. Just no scent.

It is a lot smaller than I imagined but that is my fault for not checking dimensions. The scent doesn't remind me of any bookstore. I don't detect any coffee smell at all. I was hoping for a mix of coffee and old books. I guess leather and mahogany is common in bookstores now? I'm not sure. The candle smells okay and burns clean but was nothing like I expected.

An 8 oz candle should not cost 17 bucks unless it's a very very premium type of candle that has something that justifies the price. Or maybe if it's just a great scent that you love and can't find from any other candle manufacturer at a lower price. This scent is ok. It doesn't quite trigger the memories and scents you might associate with an old style bookstore, as the name and the lettering on the label kinda suggest. It's just ok, and it just should not cost as much as a large yankee candle for this little 8 oz. candle.I'd maybe be a little more forgiving on the scent being good but not great if it wasn't for the hefty price tag. Definitely give it a try though, you might like the scent a little better than we did.
