Hands down this is the best butter dish I've ever bought! It seals shut and stays shut. It's dishwasher safe. It doesn't slip and slide around because it's got rubber around the bottom. It would probably hold two sticks of butter but I only use one at a time but it's plenty large. Seems very durable. Bought this one a month or so back, I'm buying another right now as a back up for when this one's being washed. Great value!

This is a very inexpensive way to store butter on the kitchen counter near our stove. We have had glass models before, but eventually one of the two heavy glass parts inevitably falls and breaks into many pieces. This "sealing" plastic model works great. We haven't tested it by dropping it on the floor, so we can't guarantee that it won't break if it falls, but so far it is working out well for us.

This is pretty solid, I hate cold butter, so this works great for me. Really good seal and it keeps the butter nice and fresh. As an avid grilled cheese fan, nice soft butter is the shiz, and this delivers!

I ordered this butter dish about one month ago and I'm impressed with the way the cover stays in place. There's a rubber like edge around the inside edge of the dish and you just press the cover down on top of it. I like the modern look and it's easy to clean.

Nice to have tablespoon markings on the dish.. I like that the lid fits tight. I just hold down one end of the dish to take the lid off. Easy to get used to it and keeps the butter fresher.
