IX4 is awesome!
I ordered two of the IX4’s and they arrived in 6 days! I wanted something powerful and zippy but still fun and safe for the kids, this is exactly that! Assembly took just a minute or two out of the box and it was ready to rock. I downloaded the app first but was always able to access the 28mph speed. Some reviews said you had to unlock the 28mph ability but mine worked immediately. Pros- Fast, Agile, Sturdy, Turns heads, and good range. As an adult (160lbs) I got 20 miles on turbo mode before it was down to one bar and maxing out at about 24mph. The 70lbs 8-year old still had 2 bars of battery and plenty of zip after the same 20 miles. The off-road capabilities are pretty nice but not perfect. You can easily do 20mph thru dirt. It is nice to have the option to go off-road, especially on busy paths, but this is not its ideal purpose. Night riding is also pretty decent, however you’ll want a helmet light for increased visibility on your peripherals. Hill climbing is satisfactory and will typically go 18-19mph up hills. The cockpit feels of very high quality. The brake levers have a rubber grip on them that feels great. The throttle is very smooth with a ton of action.Horn is loud, lights are great. The display screen is bright and responsive. This scooter feels nimble, fast, trustworthy, and predictable. Neutral- The shock absorbers are where the money is saved. They do very little absorption and often rattle on any type of bump. The front fork specifically seems fairly useless, but the rear shocks seem to be slightly smoother. However even after 20 miles it was never uncomfortable or a nuisance, and it’s better than no suspension at all. I also turned off the cruise control. It sets itself automatically if you hold the throttle in the same spot for a few seconds, and this felt unsafe and annoying. If there was a separate way to turn cruise control on, I might’ve used it a few times. Cons- The headlights and taillight are housed in cheap plastic and are bound to break one of these days. I personally don’t like the grips and will be changing those. I’ve also only had these scooters for 1 week and can’t speak to their longevity.

Good quality scooter
This is the fourth iScooter we have ordered. They ride pretty smooth with dual suspension over grass, sidewalks, even rougher terrain. Batteries last pretty long too. We have owned several different brands, they were either returned shortly after purchasing or they didn't last. We have been very happy with all of them.

The $500 class scooter par setter
Out of the box, fit and finish is on par with the price class. You will want to let the tires and plastics off gas for 48-72 hours before storing inside, I’d give the quality a 8.5/10. Not blow your socks off for the price, but it feels like a $500 scooter as it should. This is the replacement for a KQi2 from NIU. My previous was limited to 17 mph. The Ix4 will get me to 28 up any grade 15% or less at 6’2 ~140lbs until around 30% battery then 25 is more realistic. Folding handles are nice but also add a very slight tolerance. I have averaged 15-20 miles of range on rides I get 600’ of elevation gain and end the ride around 15-25% Its weight does not seem to affect ride feel compared to scooters half the weight. I personally think the stem needs to be more stiff to left and right inputs, you can induce speed wobbles easy one handed if you’re tall but normal riding is on par with other brands. I’ve put 3 partial battery cycles and gone close to 60 miles over bike trails, rough pavement, short dirt/gravel paths. Suspension seems to help the most with the smaller bumps, big ones still wake you up just as much as on other scooters, but at a higher speed. I was a no helmet user on the KQi2, I have invested in a helmet for this one, standard mode at 21 is a happy medium and turbo is good for getting through sketchy sections or road with traffic or in the open. Torque is good but not as punchy towards the bottom of the pack. 6-8 hour charge, last 15% really drags on but this would be a great commuter for a sub 15 mile commute, a full shift would bring you back to 100% App is a bit archaic looking compared to to other brands but has more technical data. Lights are bright enough to be useful at dusk and midnight, blinkers and underfloor are bright but not the colors I’d choose personally. Package came with a spare inner tube for the tire and small toolset as well. The one feature the NIU app has over iscooter is a remaining charge time indicator. I’d buy it again, haven’t seen anything that would make me drop at the opportunity to trade into a new one from another brand in the same price class.

400 miles review
1 month review, this scooter is really good but one thing is the speed is misleading. It will show 28 mph but would be actually going 23 mph. Another problem which is the brake, when you brake it makes a squeaking high pitched noise, another thing is you can’t app lock it. Also the tires doesn’t show the psi how much it needs to pump, this is very dangerous if u pump it higher the tire will burst and some components will be damaged.

Bought four of these ix4 scooters and they are awesome. This is the scooter if you're searching
IX4 scooters work great. Studied alot of scooter before I bought an off-road scooter. Works great in the grass or dirt or on gravel. Some people said something about noise there was none on ours. It rides flawless and has plenty of power and has an automatic cruise control on any speed that you hold for about six or seven seconds. Looks really cool with the lights at night. Can't beat it for the money. Keep in mind that this version you cannot add the seat post if desired. I believe that is the ix5 or the other high end i scooters

Sturdy design and log range!
Love this thing! I just completed a 26-mile round trip commute with it, and it performed flawlessly. For the 13-mile ride to work, I switched between standard and economy modes, and it handled some pretty big hills without any issues. I started with a full battery and used only 3 out of 5 bars by the time I arrived—so there was definitely more range left. I charged it while at work, and it was fully topped off by the time I was ready to head home. What a great product—super reliable, efficient, and fun to ride!
