Ecover Power Toilet Cleaner, Removes Limescale leaving a Sparkling Clean, Fresh Lemon & Orange Scent, 1 x 750ml

This extra strong toilet cleaner is great. Does a better job than the standard Ecover toilet cleaner and kinder to the environment than the usual toilet cleaners. Gets rid of lime scale, as it has naturally occurring acids in it. It may be more expensive than standard toilet cleaners, but I don't seem to use as much, so I think that balances out the cost, as I don't have to buy it as often. Pleasant fresh smell.

I've used this particular cleaner for a few years now and delighted to find it on subscribe and save on Amazon.The smell is pleasant as far as toilet cleaners go, it's not bleach smelling, nor does it smell like fake flowers or pine. Just reassuringly clean. The cleaning power is brilliant and always leaves the bowl spotless if you leave it for a couple of hours after a quick brush round with water.Most of all, its good to know its cruelty-free and more environmentally friendly than other cleaners, because it's one of those things you can't really avoid using unless you're happy to have a Picasso in your pan.

Over the past couple of years we've gradually be changing our buying and lifestyle habits to become more eco friendly. That said, it's also balanced with products that actually work, and work well. I admit I would prefer a plastic free option but have yet to find one that leaves the toilet bowl looking as well as smelling clean and fresh.For those that have previously tried Ecover's bog* standard toilet cleaner and not been overally impressed, this 'power' version is definitely a step up.Along with a pleasant scent that's not overpowering (with migraine and asthmatics in the house this is a must), but will still make the bathroom smell fresh, it also cleans the loo remarkably well.Tougher stains will need leaving overnight with the cleaner in the bowl, then given a quick scrub with a toilet brush in the morning.Generally though, in a household of six we've found this to be a good, happy medium for an environmentally friendly choice, and the price point isn't excessive, either.UPDATE: 01/12/21 - They've changed the packaging, and perhaps it's a placebo but it now seems to work a lot quicker and more efficiently, but without the scent being any stronger. The ingredients also appear to still be 'friendly' as I spilled some on my leg the other week after toddler barged in and tried to push past me in a bid to climb in the empty bath tub 🤦, didn't get to wash it off for a good few minutes but felt no ill affects (obviously don't put it on your skin on purpose though!). All in all I'm quite happy to have this as part of our subscribe and save still!

I haven't used Ecover for years, but now need it in a place with no mains drainage. I think the quality has much improved, and it does as good as any non-bleach can. I would just like a little eco-friendly colouring added, so you can check the coverage on sanitary ware.

I like that this product is eco-friendly. It has a non-offensive smell and cleans well.

Product great but one bottle top was broken. Pain because it was for downstairs loo. Can't put out because no safety lid now and have visiting grandchildren.
