It's okay
A little hard to get the upper part on and off. You can't really pop off the top and have it hang attached to the bottom while you shoot. The top part simply un-snaps. But it is good to use while traveling to protect the camera.

Great fitted camera case
My brother was searching for a fitted camera case for his Canon Powershot SX40HS. We had only found one case, made by Canon, but there were mixed reviews on whether or not it actually fit right. After searching I found this case. My brother put it on his camera and the fit is perfect. He wanted something to protect his camera, but that he could easily open when he wanted a picture and is completely happy with this case.

Functional but Cumbersome
While the case is functional in that it protects the camera, it is very stiff and difficult to get on the camera. That also makes the camera a bit cumbersome when snapping pictures. Finally, there are not cutouts in the case for the battery or memory card openings. Consequently, changing the battery or card requires removing the case and then replacing it. I would not buy it again.

The only treason I did't give it 5 stars is that the outer case that covers the lens can require a stretch to make it snap on easily. Aside from this the quality and workmanship are top-notch.

Great camera.
I am planning a trip and wanted a camera that had a decent zoom. I tried the smaller hand held cameras but the buttons were too small and I know I would end up dropping the camera. I decided on this one from the reviews and I like the size of it in my hands. I love the zoom and I am excited to use it on my trip.

The product's pictures are not actually correct (the shape is a bit different), but the case fits the Canon SX50 HS really well, and the pressure buttons hold well.

This is a very well made and good fitting. This just perfect to take to Hawaii. I don't want to carry a camera bag and this is so easy to flip open and catch a picture quickly and keep the camera protected while not in use.

Case for Canon
It seemed great when I first got it, but the leather is so stiff that you cannot just drop it down and shoot. Wonder if the more expensive one is better quality.
