Shower Tray and Enamel Tub Repair Kit - Leak-Proof Solution for Bathtub, Sink, Tile Scratches, Holes and Cracks (XBG-003)

This kit is a life saver. My shower tray has had a crack for ages from a poor install, the drain was being forced up as the floor legs were poorly supported. I fixed this but the crack remained. Instead of a very costly new tray and hundreds of pounds of tiles and fittings I decided to give this kit a go. It worked brilliantly! My crack has gone and is barely unnoticeable. The two filler compounds are evenly mixed this creates a cream colour so you must add colour to match you bathroom suite. Note you only need a tiny amount to make a big change so start with the smallest of drops and continue. Mask up areas such as the chrome plug hole, there are a couple of sticky sheets in the kit this was just enough for my job. The compound gets very sticky so be careful mixing and applying. Try and get a good even coat so less sanding is required. I drilled 4mm holes at the end of the cracks to help prevent it occurring again and add filler to the repair for more strength. Allow 24 hours to cure then sand to finish. The three bits of sand paper are good for a small repair again and give a good finish. I have used the shower several days and the bond is solid and holding well with no signs of opening up. I'm sure it will be good for many years to come, although not perfect the results are very pleasing. I happily recommend this kit it saved me a fortune.

Got everything in the box and a very detailed user manual. Followed the step by step guide and used it to repair a dent on bathtub, and it seems reliable. Easy to use and does the job. I think it’s value for money and I’d recommend.

After carefully following the instructions it made no difference what do ever. Personally I wouldn't buy again

Me ha gustado mucho, ya que trae todo lo imprescindible para qpoder reparar la bañera. Tenía un picado y estaba feo y no sabía cómo repararlo y con este kit a quedado perfecto Me ha sorprendido gratamente, porque te explica cómo lo tienes que hacer paso a paso, y es muy fácil de usar

Ich habe schon einmal Flüssigemaille aus der Tube versucht. Die härtet aber nicht sonderlich aus und wäscht sich in kurzer Zeit wieder aus. Hier haben wir ein 2 Komponentensystem, ich hoffe es hält sich länger. Das Anmischen und die Farbabstimmung bedarf ein wenig Geduld, klappt aber recht gut. Ich habe die Fehlstelle mit Tesafilm umklebt. Damit füllt man die Stelle etwas höher auf. Das Material trocknet aber auch etwas ein. Nicht so gut gefallen hat mir die lange Offenzeit bis die Füllung anzieht. Dadurch ist das Waschbecken für lange Zeit nicht nutzbar. Das Tesafilm kann dann entfernt werden. Das Einschleifen am nächsten Tag ging dann recht zügig. In dem Set findet man wirklich alles was zur Reparatur benötigt wird.
