Meyago foam grip tubing in multiple sizes works great. One size works perfectly on our forks. It grips tightly, and I have washed them in the dishwasher several times. I don't use the heated dry cycle on our dishwasher, but I do use the heated water cycle. They work well for anyone who needs extra help with gripping things.

These really help me grip my larger metal mixing spoons when making cookie dough. Unfortunately only 2 were really the correct size; the others were too small for my purposes but would probably work fine on regular silverware. BONUS: The cat loves them1

These are slim foam... So if you are getting them for someone whose hands don't close all the way there may not be enough strength in them for the person to grip. If you are getting them Because they need something to be non slip but they can close their hands... This would work. Good variety of colors and sizes to fit different items. There are better than having nothing and great on the go when you know these mean the difference between being able to hold a fork better with it then without it, but there is still some pain in the hands because they arent super strong like some of the plastic counterparts. I guess I the rating really depends on your need.

Having Spinocerabellular Ataxia type 6, it’s hard to hold a pen or pencil. Simply by slipping one of these grips over a pen or pencil (needs to be a thicker pen or pencil) it makes it easier to hold and write with. if you have trouble holding onto writing instruments, like I do, then this is something you may like.

The crochet size don't stay on the hooks. They slide off while crocheting.
