If you’ve been watching the news lately, then you know the horror of microplastics. The most effective way to eliminate your exposure to these things is to eliminate all your plastic. To the end, I ordered these glass bottles as a first step to replace all the plastic bottles people were using. These bottles are not thin, flimsy stuff that knock against each other and shatter on impact. Each one comes with a leak proof, aluminum cap with a silicone seal. No, silicone is not plastic, and does not shed microplastics, which is why, in addition to glass bottles, you should be replacing all your plastic utensils with wood or silicone. I would think these are a no-brainer solution, and you could actually leave them in your car in the summer heat without coming back and drinking a bunch of chemicals in a hot plastic bottle.

These were durable and leak proof. Was not fun cleaning them though

Awesome bottles. Made well. Did not leak and fit in the car holders. My bottle are glass and worked well.

These are just what I wanted. I am trying to reduce plastic especially in my kitchen. I bought 30. Now I have nice glass water bottles, instead of using plastic ones. I am very happy with this purchase.

Quality has gone down. I purchased these in the past, but they've changed the type of glass used to a lower quality. I put both bottles in dishwasher, and the old ones come dry while the new ones won't dry out fully even while alternating them in the dishwasher one next to the other. The lids are also lower quality as several separated apart within a week of arrival.

The bottles themselves are decent. They're easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and hold my water as expected. My package came with one broken bottle, and there was a note inside to email them if any were broken and they'd send a replacement. I did that, and they said they would send one, but I never got one. 2 weeks later, I followed up, they apologized for the inconvenience, and instead of sending me a replacement, they refunded me. Now that I've been using them for a bit, my only complaint is that the little metal and rubber pieces inside the top of the lid fall out all the time. I'm not sure if it's supposed to do that for cleaning or if they're supposed to stay secure forever, but it's a pain when you go to unscrew the lid to take a sip, and two pieces fall to the floor, and you have to clean and then reapply them both. Maybe I got a dud batch? Who knows. I just wanted around the house reusable water bottles, so in that regard, they work great, and I'll keep using them. But having to open the lid with caution each time, in case the lid pieces fall out, is not ideal.
