DHCAcne Spot Therapy

I am a long-time customer of DHC products and particularly like the DHC Acne Spot Therapy cream. I do not have acne, but for an occasional spot of trouble and to refine large pores this product is very effective. It contains sulfur so it does have a mild medicinal smell. But I am highly sensitive to odors and fragrances and to me this cream doesn't have an objectionable smell. Other reviewers have noted that they do find the smell to be too strong, so it's an issue to keep in mind.It takes very, very little per application and even though the tube is tiny mine lasted for years, literally. Again, I only use it once in awhile, but it doesn't go bad-- probably because of the sulfur. This cream calms down redness, draws out infection, and improves/shrinks spots amazingly fast. Often there's a noticeable difference overnight.Recently I woke up with what could have been bug bites, maybe spider bites-- three painful. bumpy red rash areas on my cheek and nose that mysteriously appeared overnight. I could not imagine what they were. These took longer to heal, but the spot therapy cream made more of a difference than other remedies I tried on these areas. I think it's a good product to keep on-hand.Also keep in mind that it is drying. This makes it better for occasional use rather than constant. It also makes it effective for balancing the t-zone area and refining large pores. Once in awhile I apply a very thin coat over my entire t-zone area, esp the nose, and it is good for tightening the pores; acts like an overnight "mask."Bottom line: recommend.

Love this product! I use it every day and have for many years. It is the only thing that works.

This is probably the best product on the face of the earth. It clears my occasional breakout in a day or two, without drying out my skin. I had been using it for years, until it was discontinued for a period of time. I was devastated and was buying it on eBay for a crazy amount of money. Thank goodness DHC is selling it again. I now buy it on Amazon Prime, so I do not have shipping fees and quicker delivery. Thank you DHC for bringing back this incredible product.

This product did not magically erase my acne. For the pimples/zits I already had on my face, putting this on top did absolutely nothing, zero, zip, nada. However, as soon as I felt a pesky bump coming to surface, I would apply just a little of this & I kid you not the next day it was gone. You have to analyze your face nightly for the first development; when the bump is barely/not visible but you can feel it. This product will simply shut that production of acne down; it's sort of magical. I'm not giving it 5 stars because I want more out of it; I wish it could fight my already grown pimples. All in all, I would purchase again if it's on sale; but no it's not a holy grail product/necessity for me.

I suffer from adult acne. I saw one of my faveorite you tubers rave about this and thought i would give it a try. I've had this for a while now and can't believe how amazingly this product works just over night! It doesn't make them disappear completely in just one night obviously, BUT it brings all my large whiteheads down from being enlarged and red by far and if I keep putting it on every night they are gone with in that week! sometimes less and my face is clear again until my next cycle lol...I would so recommend this!!!

A little goes a long way! This stuff is amazing. It pulls the pimple out fairly quickly.

Unfortunately, this product does not work. I purchased this after watching Nicole Guerriero's youtube video so I wanted to love it, but it literally did nothing for my skin. I was not expecting a miracle overnight, but it would have made no difference whether I had applied it or not. This is completely useless as a spot treatment and also has an unpleasant smell, so I threw it in the garbage. Like the majority of Youtube bloggers, Nicole was most likely paid to mention this product in her video, so I will do more research before I purchase other products reviewed by her.

I am 83 years old and I still get pores that clog and erupt!!! With everything else that besets one at 83 it doesn’t seem fair.The moment I apply the product it begins to work. Overnight all the redness and angry pores are reduced. By the next day — problem gone.Grateful, Barbara
