Good, but read this before fixing.
Useful aid (particularly if you are getting on a bit...!) especially when leaving the caravan, more so than entering. However, it fixes either from outside or inside, with different holes in the black blocks, just straight through holes to fix from outside (they are stopped just short of the inner skin), smaller holes for the screws to grip into for inside fixing. In my view, the outside fixing is not likely to be very strong as it relies on the screws gripping the thin external skin (mostly aluminium I think) and then just the wall insulation which is not much use. There are 2 screws in each block. I fixed mine from inside, and used plastic screw caps (not provided) to hide the screw heads. If you do fix from inside, a tip: make sure you use some form of lubrication on the screw holes in the black blocks, otherwise they are next to impossible to screw in far enough to clamp the blocks to the wall. Also, I found that despite drilling the 5mm holes through the wall, using the template provided (side of box), the screws were inclined to "wander" a bit, probably because there is only the soft insulation to guide them. If they do wander, you can unscrew them a little and force them sideways to get back on track. As is usual these days, no such guidance comes with the product.

Very stong
The template used help with the mounting is a must. Tape it in position and drill very slowly with the correct size drill. This will produce a strong joint, use a all weather sealant to prevent water ingress round the screw hole.
