Im a Master Technician and having a good solid reliable scantool is a MUST especially when working with alot of different Brand vehicles. From scanning Full complete reports, to printing wirelessly and sending my customer a detailed report via email of all their dtc’s, this tool can do. Maint resets, Parking Brake Retract, even chasing misifires on a Bmw and Mercedes no problem. Diagnosing Hondas Fuel trim issues with their AF Test is perfect! Using the live data with 8 multiple graphs, I was also able to determine the state and condemn a bad Hybrid Battery on a late model Ford Fusion. I have an Autel Ultra that i use everyday. And is Big Scan Tool. And sometimes not so practical. This scanner is built tough, and the perfect size to carry around the shop when working on multiple cars. Everything i have used it for is worked flawlessly with no issues. The Scan tool is very easy to use. Im also very impressed with the battery life. My Autel Ultra, in one day i may be 50% life left on my battery. The CRP919EBT, i used it for 6 days, did not charge it, on the last day i still had a 20% battery life left. So i was impressed! If you’re a technician looking for a good scan tool, at a good price this is it!

El producto y la caja con los accesarios se ve muy bien y de alta calidad, tengo 2 coches en la casa, y el equipo no las encontro un coche de 2025, automaticamente no detecto en Vin y poner manual en Vin en coche no existe para ese scanner, ni la fábrica de coche el coche existe desde 2017, lo voy a regresar, y buscar un scanner que funciona con mi Chevrolet Groove Update no compran con ese vendedor, ya regresé ese producto, hace más de 1 mes, confirmado el regreso Amazon , no me han regresado el dinero!

I have used a Launch diagnostic scan tool in the past and I own a Creader elite for my Land Rover that has been a great help with diagnosing its many modules. I upgraded to the CRP919EBT because my mobile repair side-hustle business has grown and I needed an affordable scan tool that had compatibility with more manufacturers than the code reader I had. This scan tool is amazing! I have the ability to scan pretty much all systems for every car that I come across now. The bi-directional features are on par with other scanners that cost far more than this one. Also, the renewal for updates is affordable for the DIY-er and technicians that side-hustle like myself. The wireless DLC that comes with this tool makes it so convenient when scanning modules and you need to be under the hood to see things. The ability to search trouble codes online on the tool is another great feature. The build quality is great and it comes in a great case for protection and storage. I would highly recommend this scan tool for advanced do-it-yourself-ers and professional technicians alike that need the ability to delve deeper into vehicle systems than a generic code reader.

Background- ford senior master technician, in the industry for 20 years. I wanted an additional backup, and already have the x431 pro v 4.0+. I wanted something almost as capable, smaller but still great for all makes and models, and that’s where this CRP919 comes in. Excellent little scantool, very easy to set up. If you’re new to Launch, create an account for free with a user name and password, pair VCI and you’re good to go. You can put in user name, shop address, shop phone number and email, and it saves it to all reports. Very nice for customers. I wanted to note here- this scantool feels beefy. The case is thick, with extra padding on the corners and raised sections to protect the screen. It feels even more rugged than my other one, and I’m SUPER happy with how it feels. Connecting is quick. Connect VCI to the vehicles DLC, hit intelligent diagnose and you’re off. Pulls VIN, decodes everything for you. Takes maybe 10 seconds to connect and decode, very quick. Takes maybe 30 seconds to scan all modules. Yes, if there’s a module that’s communicating, it will pull codes from it. This one pulled RCM codes from my truck no problem. I went in to check data logger, and see it’s the same as other Launch scantools. Value, graph, data, they’re all there. You can display 8 graphs, and combine 4 of them. Data speed performance is fast, no noticeable lagging. The scantool also has power balance and relative compression for my truck, which is awesome in a scanner in this price range. Completely shocked by that, and super impressed. Support is spot on with these Launch scantools. Seller is quick to respond to questions and help with setup if necessary, be it simple settings or tech support. If you need support in any way, they’re there to help. Scantool comes with an automatic 2 years of updates. Updates are downloaded via WiFi, easy as clicking the update section, update all, and ok. This is a global scantool, so there will be updates you might not need or use, I download ‘em anyways. Mine showed error on two of them, reclicking them downloaded them no problem. Scantool is fast, covers a ton of vehicles, is in depth, has great support, portable and easy to use. 10/10 Launch, excellent job
