Ordered for my garage walkway door. It came like a kit with screws included. It is a good quality heavy latch. It was easy to fit and the latch fitted with a smooth operation.

Felt a good lock on purchase. Over time it seems to have eroded fast. The screws rusty and the lock sheared at the latch and also at the circular connection. I have 2 bolts on my gate to keep it fixed in place. Surprised this lock did not even last 2 years. maybe a bad batch, quite disappointed in the end.

We just bought a new build house and the latch they put on was ugly, cheap, flimsy and wouldn't open properly. We desperately needed a new one. This latch is much sturdier, looks nice, was easy to install and we can get in through our gate now. Despatch and delivery was nice and quick. The price was very reasonable. Very happy.

The latch is really good - works perfectly. The screws included are a much different matter. Having drilled the pilot holes I attempted to 'turn the screw'. I got about half way and it sheared. Tried again in a different position and it happened again. To avoid the expensive and ornate gates looking like Swiss cheese, I resorted to using my own screws. Good product - carp screws.

This ring latch looked reasonable value for under a tenner and was easy to install, it took only a few minutes to line things up and drill pilot holes. Unfortunately it was also a matter of a only few minutes before the latch was broken. The design means that a certain small amount of pressure is placed upon the latch arm retaining plate when the gate is pulled closed. Unfortunately this was too much for the method by which the two components of the plate are joined and it fell apart. I was able to repair the plate- enlarging the notches on the tabs with a hammer and cold chisel- similar to the means by which the parts are joined at the factory in the first place (but better!!). Unfortunately I had no confidence that this would be a reasonable long-term fix and bought a better quality heavy duty cast iron latch with which to replace it. Despite only taking a few minutes to fit, this was ultimately a waste of time and could have messed up my newly painted gate. Luckily the replacement cast iron latch was a similar size and I was able to use the same screw holes or cover the redundant ones. Don’t waste time or money on this item, there are better options for only a few pounds more.

COmprei para o portão da minha casa de férias, ficou muito bem, com um aspecto rústico e antigo sobre a porta de madeira maciça. Muito fácil de aplicar, basta abrir um furo e quatro furinhos para os parafusos, que já vem incluídos. Recomendo para uma aplicação rústica.

Poignée en métal bien faite que j'ai utilisée pour le portail du jardin. A l'air chic et fonctionne comme prévu. J'ai remplacé les vis pour améliorer la solidité. Recommandé.
