Shipping box arrived in great shape, but the contents did not. The box the sweets arrived in had fallen apart Each flavor of sweet had congealed into a messy, sticky ball. It looks like either the product melted or ganular sugar was used instead of powdered so the pieces did not stay separated. The product was not edible and was thrown out.

They are pretty good candy but came as a gooey mess because either not stored or transported properly why I gave it 3 instead 5

Very nice treat that tastes pretty great and seemed fresh to me. I can see why people might say it's chewier than soft, but it's not really that chewy imo. The packaging looks authentic, more like something you'd pick up while traveling abroad rather than ordered off Amazon. I liked it, would order again.

This was a great price on prime day. It also held up to shipping in the summer. Last year I bought a different brand and it was better, but didn’t hold up to the heat of shipping in summer in the south. This held up okay but consequently it was a lot more chewy than soft. Flavors were also a bit of a mixed bag. Rose and plain were fine for what they’re supposed to be. The melon was good, but the other two orange and blackberry) were weak and pretty nondescript. Could’ve pretty much called them anything and I’d have to take their word for it. For what I paid I’m not unhappy with it, but there’s better lokum out there.

I love lokum but don't really have the resources to make my own currently. I was nervous, of course, to buy online, especially such a big box, but I'm glad I did and am a repeat customer now.This box is huge, so it lasts a long time and is perfect to share. The main content is sugar, so lokum does start to melt if it's extremely hot (we get some 33-34 Celsius days where I live in Pennsylvania, USA). However, you could put them in the refrigerator to prevent that and just thaw them a bit before eating (or not--cold just makes them less soft, not less delicious). You could also chill them ahead of time when you know a heat wave is coming (what I normally do), and that helps to prevent melting. Of course, always store in a cool, dry, dark place.They come in a big, sturdy box, but I like to put mine in a big bag because it fits in the cabinet easier and makes it easier to surprise the kids when they cannot see the contents. :)
