So far so good
I know normally potassium comes from your diet. But I have Hashimoto's and I did research and I need all the mineral cofactors. I wasn't sure if I needed potassium but I thought I would try it. These capsules are smaller than I expected so they're easy to swallow. If they were tablets I'd probably break them in half

Great for reducing muscle cramps
Started taking this potassium supplement to help with keto induced muscle cramps. Has helped tremendously. I actually like the fact that the dosage is such that I can adjust how much I take to supplement what I have eaten on a particular day.

Low-level potassium supplement
I can't say anything negative about this supplement; I've been taking it as directed for a couple weeks and have experienced no ill effects. I haven't experienced any effects at all, really. I think it comes down to the fact that a single pill has a whole 2% of your RDA of potassium which is...not very much at all. Common electrolyte drink mixes have several times that - even a banana has 5 or 6 times as much. So it just seems to me that if you actually need to boost your potassium intake, you're going to wind up with a lot less than 180 servings. I've had positive experiences with supplements from this brand before, and this one hasn't dampened my opinion. I'm just not sure who it's targeted at (at least at the indicated dosage).

Good
Easy to take and swallow. Doesnt have a bad smell. I haven't found any significant changes after taking it though.

A standard dosage potassium supplement
Contrary to another user’s post, the dosage of this product is a standard 99mg (2% DV). The point being that unless recommended by a doctor, the rest of the DV of Potassium should come from your diet. A more pertinent question would be is there a difference between Potassium Citrate (this product) and Potassum Gluconate (the more common supplement). Per Drugs.com, Potassium Citrate acts as a diuretic (making you pee more), and is used to manage, prevent or treat conditions such as: Renal tubular acidosis (when the kidneys do not properly remove acids from the blood); Kidney stones (crystal-like formations in the kidneys); Low potassium levels (hypokalemia). Potassium Gluconate may be used to manage, prevent or treat low potassium levels (hypokalemia). Bottom line: Research has not shown that any form of potassium is better than the others. Recommend.
