These Govee Mini Panel Lights were my 15-year-old son’s favorite Christmas gift this year! They were incredibly easy to put together, and the app is amazing. It has an endless amount of customization options, effects, and designs. He hasn’t stopped changing them since he set them up. I definitely recommend getting the 20-piece set (or even more) if you want to create bigger or more detailed designs. One small note: the box is a bit misleading, as some of the designs shown use more panels than what’s included in the set. This is our third Govee product, and once again, the quality is excellent. Govee continues to impress, and we’ll absolutely keep buying their products.

I recently purchased a device that I really wasn’t sure about. I had a 50% coupon and they were on sale. So for around $50 I was willing to give them a look. I will admit when you open them up they are a little cheap looking. Shiny white diffuser and white housing. These squares are 3.1 inches on each side. They have 4 connection spots on the back. One thing I both liked and didn’t like about the setup. Most of the @GOVEE wall lights you build inside the app then it tells you where to hook up the connection and orientation of the panel. As well as the needed dimensions of your creation. On these you physically build your design and then calibrate. It will recognize your design. But the design I picked I actually was running out of connections because I was doubling up on a few sections when a different route would work better with less connections. It’s something you just got to figure out so definitely lay this out on the ground/table before actually installing. Maybe Govee can update to allow us to build first within the app like the other wall lights. these mini panels allow 70 per power supply and controller. I also thought that each panel could do one color. Nope appears they have 4 areas of light per square. We are not giving full control but many scenes utilize the multiple colors per square. Overall it’s definitely a device I like. It has great diffused light. Decent color reproduction. I do wish the diy section gave us some more options as it’s fairly limited. But there’s so many scenes that it likely isn’t needed much. And in the preset scenes you have some control of where the scene is oriented at. And honestly for being such a new product the preset animations are pretty limited. It’d at least be nice if would could change colors in some of the scenes. I’d also love to see a couple connections that are flexible to change plains (wall to few/around corners. This would not need a new product just an accessory we could buy. Even a longer extension to create a gap if we want to install around another Govee light, like having the gaming wall bar lights running down the center of our mini panel design. Definitely a cool device that could use a few software updates of more scenes/diy capabilities but very much worth the purchase.

Awesome … you’ll save money if you buy an expansion with it… which, you’re going to want eventually.

Great quality and the app is great with nice features was easy to set up. The lights get bright and colorful and the rgb has smooth lighting/no lag for animating the colors. And I got it on sale for $100 would definitely recommend at that price might not pay $150 because of size but it’s big enough if at the sale price.

Great quality product, I have both the starter 20 pack, along with this 10pc expansion. You can set the look to match any decor idea. The companion app makes the set up and customization easy. Going to try to get my hands on more Govee products because of that reason.

This might be mt 10th review on Govee lights! I can't tell you how excited every time they come out with a new product because they never cease to impress me!!! And these panel lights are no exception! As always... the packaging is incredible! Everything is so organized so nicely in the box. Nothing loose rattling around. It's always top notch packaging! The set is complete with everything you could possibly need to install these lights. The hardest part is just trying to figure out what design you want to try! Lay them on the floor and play around with different shapes until you find what works best! The lights are very easy to snap together using the provided 3-pin connectors. Just start with the power cable on the 1st panel and go from there. Thousands of possibilities!! The set comes with a handy little level too! So everything is prefectly straight! Once they are all snapped in place, power them on and connect the lights to your Govee app! ***Wait until they are all connected together and ready to go before syncing them to the Govee app!!!*** don't just hook up a couple lights and connect the lights to the app. Otherwise it'll only recognize the few panels that have power and you'll have to start over when they are all together! (By deleting the lights on the app and having to sync them again to your phone) Once your phone recognizes the product, you are all set!!! There are a TON of amazing presets as well as custom modes! I played around for about an hour and i feel like I STILL didn't get to see everything!!! You can also do custom designs! Sky is the limit!!! The video didn't do it any justice, by the way. And I'm only allowed one video, unfortunately. These lights are bright (also dimmable). The colors look incredible! I couldn't be happier! I loved them so much I bought another set because honestly.... 20 just isn't enough!!! :) I want to thank Govee for, once again, creating an amazing product! Your company is awesome! You won't be disappointed in these amazing lights!! If i could rate these higher than 5 stars... i absolutely would!! Excellent product!
