My husband and I have enjoyed doing the date activities in this book. Gives us fun idea to mix up our adventures.

Got this for my parents, they loved it! It gives them more opportunities for their relationship. Plus it’s sturdy with lots of activities. So I would highly recommend.

I didn't think the second edition could be a good as the first, but can't wait to try more of these out!

This is a fun book with lots of good ideas for date night that you might not think of doing. There are a variety of choices and each scratch off square gives you some idea of what you can expect through the use of a "helpful hints" list (kind of like an aswer key). For instance, if your're considering a scratch off square that has the symbols of a car, a running stick figure, and a pine tree next to it, you'll know it's an event that is somehwere away from home, it's active (plan on physical exertion) and it's an outdoor activity. If cost is involved, there are one, two or three dollar signs shown so you can plan ahead.There is a space on each page for comments and you can put photos in the blank areas if you'd like. One page has a list of cocktails and how to make them with the opposite page asking you to write a drink name that you create and ingredients and why you chose them. I think the drink list and recipes are supposed to provide inspiration for you to create your own drinks and then you score each other's drink creation.There is a sheet with peel off adhesive strips that I believe are sticky on both sides (although it is really hard to peel the paper off one of the sides). I think the intention is to put the strip in the blank area next to the scratch off square so you can stick a picture in that spot but I'm guessing here.Anyway, this is a great way to help couples be creative and try some things they might not otherwise try. I love that one of the guidelines is that you can't back out once you've chosen a square and scratched it off-you are committed to it, like it or not!The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is just because I personally feel that the price tag is a little steep but it IS a very well made book and you will likely cherish it while you're completing it and afterwards as well!

We were doing the same old thing for date night and decided to give this a try.. so happy we did. This brought that excitement and creativity back that we can't believe we lost. We even see it coming back when we're not even using the book.
