Very good quality items - couldn't believe they were so good for the price - only used one bit so far but cut through my car bulkhead easily.

Well happy with these bits, uesed today with a battery drill that I know the batteries are 3 parts shot now, but these cut a hole fast & easy, with cutting oil, even with that stop start battery, well happy.

Used the 18mm bit on 3mm steel and it broke after 1 hole, so yes, it is cheap, but also quite useless. And yes, i did use a low speed driller and used plenty of cutting oil, the teeth just broke one after the other

I couldn't believe the value of these. The whole set was for the price of the single cutter I wanted from starrett. My intention was to drill through two pieces of half inch plate in one operation. The cutter worked well for the first 5 or 6 mm, then just did not want to cut any further. I dont know if that is expected behaviour for these cutters, but they seemed to have clearance for shifting swarfe beyond that depth. I had a problem with the centre drill coming loose, but it might just have needed tightening more before I used it. (and the supplied allen key felt plasicky like it would turn in the grub screw). For this job, I ended up drilling each plate from opposite sides, in order to get through.They do work, and are incredible value, but for this job for me I think I should have spent the extra.For lighter work on thinner plate or softer metal I think these will be excellent value

So far I've only used the 14mm hole cutter. This was to cut holes in an HGV steel wheel. This contains stainless steel about 15mm thick. I was very impressed with the speed and accuracy of cutting, but I did pre-drill 6mm holes (using a HSS- cobalt drill bit) the pilot drill that comes with the hole cutter just wouldn't go through such heavy grade steel.I should say that I've now destroyed the 14mm hole cutter, it had three tungsten cutting teeth which eventually fell out the bit. I did manage 7 holes x 14mm stainless =98mm of cutting through S. steel.

Bought this to drill a mild steel box bar. Cuts through pretty good and the springs make it easy to eject the metal disc made by the drill. The only issue was one of the drill bits shattered when I increased the power of the drill. But I manage to change it with another bit. I wish all of them came in one box making it easier to organize. Good product, Happy with it.
