Yes, there are two digital inputs on the controller that you can connect a push button switch to activate the buzzer manually for emergency. Here is a video that we made for how to connect a push switch to the Netbell-2 controller.

Q: can you add more then 2 bells to this network/system?

Dan, With the NEtbell-2 the outputs are rated to 10amps so as long as you do not exceed that rating then you could add more that one buzzer per output. The other issue is the power supply we provide would only be able to do 2 buzzers per output and of course limited by the distance you run the wire. Hope this helps.

Richard, Thank you for your interests in our Netbell product. Here is the answers for your questions: 1)As long as your computer and the controller are on the same network, you can access the IP address without distance limit. Once you setup the controller (set your timezone, add schedules), the controller doesn't need the computer to run. There is a built-in server in the controller, all the software and settings are located on the server. The controller even can work as a standalone device, which means it will still work without the internet connection after the initial setup. 2) Depending on how far you want to wire the buzzers to the controller. It can be wired up to 500ft away from the controller with 18AWG cable in our in-house testing. The buzzer is 24VAC/0.9A, we supply a 24VAC power transformer (40VA) in the kit.

Q: Does this have different alarm sound options, not just the volume but the actual sound?
