This nail polish kit is a great starter for someone trying to start gel polish manicures at home. You get a very good variety of colors, along with a matte, clear and sparkle top coat. The cuticle tools that come along with it are very good as well. Typically in kits like this, they aren't great quality tools, but I actually love these. The curing light is better than I expected as well, I was worried I'd need to order a replacement, but it has a 30, 60 and 90 second setting that cure perfectly. When I did my nails, I used the 60 second timer for each set and that was perfect. The only thing I can't review completely is the nail oil that comes with it, I've used it twice and it seems fine, but I'm not sure how much it actually does without testing it for a couple weeks.The only downside, is the small bottles of nail polish. But for a kit with so many colors and the price point, I can't complain too much about that.

Very impressed with the quality of this gel polish. No peeling, bright colors. High shine! Will certainly buy again. Great buy for the cost. Easy to use and variety of colors.

Overall the color variety was good. But the nail polishes are EXTREMELY small and you will only get maybe 2 or 3 uses out of each bottle if you use 2 coats. The polish was a bit sheer so multiple or so coats needed on each nail. The price is great for what you get and so are the extra items it comes with, for a starter. But this is not a very long term use item. The quality of the lamp is not terrible for the price, but definitely cheap. Despite these things it was easy to use and a fun thing for someone starting out!

This is a great starter kit!! The UV light works perfectly and I love the timer settings. You can choose between 30, 60, or 90 seconds. All of the nail accessories worked well and were great to have handy before painting. The gel bottles are on the small side, but are perfect for trying out lots of different colors. As someone new to using gel, this was a great deal on a large set of tools to see if I like it.

Wonderful lil kit for the price, note the bottles are super tiny but have used the colors numerous times. Nothing beats doing them yourself to save a $50 trip to the nail salon :)

The media could not be loaded. I thought it was a good deal for the price. I guess with all of the colors top base and Mac coats it is. However the bottles are tiny they are not regular sized nail polish bottles. Secondly the instructions do say you may need to or three coats but I think that's ridiculous for a gel polish. I'm not a professional but with other brands I have used you have never needed more than two and sometimes you can get away with one. Thirdly you definitely need at least three coats. In the video and pictures I picked the darkest green and when it's on my nails it is still very see-through and streaky. And fourthly, I 100% protect my nails when I do dishes so they have not been overly exposed to moisture. I do not do anything significantly laborious with my hands. The Polish did not start chipping it just started peeling up. So as you can see in the video it is coming off and clean peels. But I am not sure why. I guess it is better than chipping polish but it is still weird it didn't last but a few days until it began to peel. I know that nail prep is important and I have been practicing home manicures for almost a year now. Again I've never had these experiences with other brands. So I am not sure if it is this brand or what, but please be advised of these issues if you think it can be an issue for you do not purchase this gigantic box. I will still be playing around with them and seeing if I can work with them to get them to last but just to warn you all. Gave it 3 stars because I think they could work and it is a good deal if they can.**UPDATE** (pink color)used them again. Better more thorough nail prep as I did rush last time. Lasted a few days before 1 nail chipped. Lasted 1 week before a second nail peeled off again. And about 2 weeks for a second to peel off. (As u can see how they grew) So, Lasted better. But still not impressed. Also because I did do 3 coats this time instead of 2. And the Polish is still very wavy. Idk if u can see the grooves in the pink pic. Can only upload 1 video. You can't see grooves and all well but they are there.

Editing my review:This is an excellent starter kit for those wanting to do their own gel manicures at home. It comes with everything you need for a basic manicure, aside from acetone and cleaning/design brushes. As others have mentioned, the bottles are small, but you get a lot of colors to choose from, which can help one determine which colors they’d like to purchase larger sizes of. The base coat polish will remain sticky after curing, but it’s a base coat, so being a bit tacky afterwards is expected. The other polishes do dry very quickly under the UV lamp, and are quite easy to use. The UV lamp however did not work at all for me, but MEFA’s excellent customer service gave me a refund so that I could purchase a new one. Overall, I would highly recommend this starter kit, just have a back up UV lamp just incase!
