A superb powerbank works well with laptops, mobiles and more. With both a long, retractable cable and the shorter cable doubling as a carry strap when not in use, it provides briliant access to power under any circumstance. I haven't use the side ports for power output yet, but have used the side USB-C port for power in as my devices charged from the builtin cables and it works a treat. Battery life is really good, allowing me to keep my MacBook Pro charged and usable on a long-haul flight with no power to my seat. The size and weight are also amazing for everything this powerbank can do.

Can charge up to 6/8 times (depending on time). We took on our holidays, and it lasted 8 days perfectly fine. Only charged once and we charged 4 devices for whole 8 days with peace of mind. Highly recommended and best value for money. Compact size, not v huge and bulky. Due to extra storage and power capacity, it is heavy but it is understandable due to its capacity, power and usage time.

This power bank is just great. It has a huge capacity but is just below the limit to take as carry on with most flights. The form factor is a clever bit of design with one of the USB C cables doubling as a carry strap. The charger has a lot of capacity and capability - easily able to charge a MacBook Pro from flat and able to full charge smartphones multiple times. the combination of two pre-wired USB C cables with a USB A and USB C sockets gives a great range of flexibility for current and legacy devices. Though most devices are now USB C by default it's helpful to have a USB A for older stuff that's still in circulation. The attached cables are great and capable of high current charge in or out of the device. The retractable cable is the one I use the most - it's really convenient, has a lovely action on the ratchet retractor and the plug stows very neatly on an onboard magnet in a recess in the top of the unit, fantastic design. PD charge control means that this power bank can deliver different voltages with the correct cables - I've used mine to power a Starlink mini with the correct USB C cable. The graphic display is insightful and helps to manage charge and plan usage of the available capacity. it may be a little heavy but it has become my everyday carry as it allows me to power a mobile office from my back pack. I don't mind the weight at all because of its capacity and because it is due to the far better LiFePO4 cells inside. They may be heavier than cheaper Li-ion cells but they are safer if the worst happens - a big part of my decision to buy. It's very straightforward to use - switching itself on automatically when a device is connected. It's survived a couple of months of tough service on the road so I think it is pretty durable. The output spec of 165W is great for a device of this size though it might be worth sticking a piece of tape or a name label over this spec printed on the side of the case before going to an airport, in case it is confused for the battery WHr capacity, which is sub 100 (the current limit for cabin baggage). It is great value for money for such a versatile dependable device.

I use a lot of batteries in an off-grid situation, from enormous ones to smaller ones like this. So why is this battery twice the price of its competition? (I don't get paid for reviews and I only review products I think are great) Mainly because of the chips inside and the build quality. The 2 attached usb c cables are great, allowing communication with the attached device as well as rapid current transfer. The battery is able to detect and charge at the maximum safe level automatically. With other batteries, you sometimes have to find the correct cable and hope for the best. 25000mah is enough juice to charge a phone 6-8 times. The retract mechanism for one of the cables seemed like an obvious fail point, but it feels reliable and well-made, with a satisfyingly dampened spring mechanism. Likewise, the second cable forms a carry-strap and this too is a potential problem, but it seems well thought-out and solid. Your money has gone into R&D, engineering and high quality materials to make this an excellent unit. These 2 cable issues do not feel like issues any more now that I have lived with the charger for a couple of weeks. It feels dependable. I have used it for charging vapes, drones, lights, phones, DAPs, boomboxes and radios. Probably because of the superior cables and chips, it seems to do the job a little faster than some of the other batteries I use, and the one I reach for first. In fact, I bought another one. The display is another plus point, giving clear feedback on remaining charge and the wattage being transferred. No more guesswork or straining to see tiny LEDs. You can see if its working from across the room, and when finished, the display turns off. One minor flaw is that it does not always start automatically when you plug something in - you have to press the on button to start charging. Once you know this factoid, it is no longer a problem, though. I have not tested the claimed recharge time thoroughly - it seemed as slow as its competitors, but perhaps I should be using the built-in cables. So, you get what you pay for, and you are getting a premium product here - hassle-free, easy to use and reliable charging. This is a step up. Highly recommended.

The Anker 25,000mAh Laptop Power Bank is a serious piece of kit for anyone needing reliable charging on the go. With three USB-C ports capable of delivering up to 100W each, it easily powers laptops, tablets, and phones simultaneously. I tested it with a MacBook Pro and an iPad, and both charged quickly and smoothly. The huge 25,000mAh capacity means multiple full charges for smaller devices and at least one full charge for most laptops. I found that for 60 quid(in a deal) that was a reasonable price The build quality feels premium overall, with a sturdy casing and clear LCD indicators. However, the half handle/half cable design broke quite quickly, which was disappointing given the otherwise solid construction. For a product at this price point, I expected better durability in that area. Feels smooth and VIP like most of ANKER's high end power items. NOTE: does get quite hot after 1h of solid 165W charging but that to be expected. It’s worth noting that the unit is heavier than a standard power bank, and recharging the battery itself takes time due to the large capacity. Still, for travelers, remote workers, or anyone who needs dependable backup power, this remains a very capable solution. As an FYI I have just moved over from a UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 20000mAh 130w (Amazon £55.99) after only having for 3 months. Absolutely nothing wrong with this bank, but what I learnt from that was that I really LOVE these power bank brick sizes and the screen info they can provide (watts/port status etc) and the multi device charging they provide. So I felt the need for even greater capacity/storage and the upgrade bug bit me. If one does the mAh maths the Anker is exactly the same value/mAh 20,000 v 25,000, cost v cost+. So no brainer really to upgrade for the sweet extra features. This is Anker’s latest power bank providing huge capacity and 2 neat built in cables. For 99% of users this is ideal as no money is wasted on the charging dock functionality of the PRIME series. So to begin there is no point me reiterating what has already been said in prev user reviews but instead I will focus on things maybe not mentioned/obvious. In no particular order my observations_ - Black (dark grey) version when on sale £69.99 UK_April 2025. Why was the silver not reduced also from its retail of £89.99 ? Shame but oh well - Battery % status is only in 2 digits (eg: 80% charged) , whilst charging status is 4 digit % (eg: 80.24% charging) This is rather clever as the lower digits will always move up visually whilst charging (with a decent power charger at least) This gives a positive sense that it is working and loading up. Nice work. - Despite what anyone thinks 25,000 mAh will not give 25,000 in use. It doesn’t work that way due to inefficiencies of any/all power banks. So expect 13,500-17,000 mAh useable capacity. - The screen brightness and pixel clarity is much better than the UGREEN variation. It is still very visible in full sun. It was much dimmer so not a chance with the UGREEN unit. The screen brightness or display time cannot be altered in anyway (unlike in the Anker PRIME series) - Cycling through the menu gives you ‘Battery temp’ / ‘Port usage / ‘battery health’ / ‘cycle counts’. All rather informative and again gives a feeling that you know what’s going on and condition of your bank. The UGREEN did not have this extra info. Nice work Anker. - The only rubber protection is on the small base rather than say some feet on its back like the UGREEN. This means unless you stand it up tall to use or lay down on something soft it will scratch over time. Hmm not so clever maybe. - Pass through charging (so you can charge bank and a device) will ONLY work if the power IN (from charger) is greater than the power OUT (to device/s). - Max charging capacity is 100W (obvs need a capable charger) - To access trickle charge mode (for very low power devices) you need to rapid press the power x2. A Blue dot will display top RHS to the charge %. To exit do the same. I could not find this info in the downloaded manual - There is insufficient slack to use the external USB-C cable lanyard any more than around all your fingers. No way will it go around your wrist unless you are a child. - Anker clearly states the 90Wh capacity (25,000 mAh) on the rear case. NOTE: 100Wh is the max allowed on planes (never in checked luggage tho). It also has a QR code adjacent the figure, but unfortunately my phone will not recognise it so I don’t know where it leads. A statement on their website I hope. Great was to prove to any over-zealous security personnel at airport. - I was initially not a fan at first of built in cables just seeing them as a potential point of failure for the future. But I have to say they are very neatly undertaken. I hope they stand the test of use/time. The spring loaded one is where I strongly suspect it would fail first, most likely in the out position. - 18 month guarantee incl not the 2 year of the UGREEN. Hmmm so watch out for those attached cables guys especially the spring loaded one. Time will tell if I am just a Wendy-worries :-) For now I am a really happy bunny with this purchase. Can’t think of anything else hope this helps someone.

I'm overall very happy with this power bank. I've not used it for long so cannot comment on durability of the built in cables, but so far no issues. The good: - Aesthetically, it looks very nice and has all kinds of niceties you wouldn't get in a cheap power bank - The functionality is great, I love being able to see the power delivered to everything plugged in so if I have dodgy devices or cables I can immediately see when it's not charging or the charge speed is slow - This device supports passthrough charging flawlessly, the moment you plug in a device while it's charging you get explicit confirmation it's in passthrough mode and you can see the charge speeds. It even gives an updated charging ETA! Bear in mind: - The product images make it looks as if this has an OLED display (no visible border between the black fronting and the display itself). In reality, I can see a square backlight. It's not super prominent and the overall effect is still nice, but the product photography is a bit misleading. - It's not made of metal. It feels very sturdy and high quality construction, however the case is metal-effect plastic, not actual brushed aluminium. - This is a splurge option, you're paying extra for the sleek design and the display. I was happy to get it on sale but you can find power banks of this capacity for much less.
