one of the dogs wasn't attached to the string but we were able to super glue it together and it works fine. Music is loud but it doesn't seem to bother my daughter, Only complaint is that when you fully wind it up it only plays for a couple minutes tops if even that.

I had zero problems this. One of the dogs wasn't attached (like I read in some review's) but the one just gets tied in the middle loop once it's all together! No big.
