Great product
I love this thing. I hate how other paper towel holders spin when you pull them. The racketing of this one prevents all that. And is not to hard to pull. Rolls smoothly. Looks great. Performs great. All hardware was included. Easy to install. Very sturdy.

Very nice paper towel holder
Very nice Sturdy paper towel holder. Ordered a cheaper one just to immediately be disappointed. I just wish this one was in black. But this works perfectly!

Easy install, durable.
Been using it for over 2 years without screwing it to the cabinet. Just used the tape and it's still intact. Quality product, functional and easy to install.

Well done! but...
This product lives up to it's billing. It has a cogged element which creates the right amount of resistance to tear sheets off at the perforation, with one hand. Works pretty well even with cheap towels having poor perforations. One drawback - the wire "spring" assembly that grips the inside of the tube is not glued into the rubber end pieces. Instead, each wire is friction fit. After less than 1 year of use, the wires are occasionally pulling free of the rubber end piece and are a pain to get realigned with their holes. Not sure what glue might anchor stainless to rubber once the friction isn't enough to keep it all together.

You found the best one. Get it.
This really is a quality product. The ratcheting feature is very haptic & satisfying to use. It really sells it. It holds even really large paper towel rolls. It is sturdy & I honestly do not find myself wanting of anything further from it. Fully reccommend. 5 stars.

Very Happy!
The Best!!! Get it while in sale. This is a steal. FYI The screw was too long for what I wanted to screw it into. But, I just bought a pair of half inch screws and it worked like a charm. It was so easy to install. It’s the perfect tear and super satisfying

Amazing. I love this. I mounted mine vertically
My use case is that my home office is in the basement and my desk is next to a pillar that holds up the house I guess. I installed it vertically and it’s great. I can grab and yank and get one piece of paper towel. I bought another one to mount in my small backyard workshop. Great for saving space and keeping a roll of paper towels handy!

I was using an automatic towel dispenser in the main kitchen, but didn't want something so expensive for the basement kitchenette. I wanted the convenience of one handed use though, and didn't like the cheap paper towel holders that we've used previously that is more or less a stick that holds up your paper towel roll. The perfect tear paper towel holder has been the perfect, cost effective solution to my problem. This is a wall or cabinet mounted paper towel holder. It comes with a set of screws, though these are designed for wall mounting, so if you're mounting in a cabinet you'll want to purchase some shorter wood screws that won't penetrate all the way through your wood cabinets. The towel holder itself is made of sturdy materials and feels high quality - feels like it'll last. Loading paper towel rolls is simply, you simply unscrew the cap and slide it on, replacing the cap after. It would be nice if this was an easy twist off cap (half turn and then it slides off) rather than an actual screw cap which requires a few more rotations to get it off, but that's a minor gripe. The perfect tear mechanism adds a sufficient friction to the roll to allow you to rip off a paper towel roll with one hand. At the same time, it does not provide so much friction that you cannot easily advance the paper towel roll when pulling forward - it actually will click as you're pulling outward to advance the roll. It does take some practice, and you have to tear at the right speed/angle to get the paper towel off cleanly each time, but it's not difficult by any means and you'll get used to it in no time. Overall, very happy with this. I know my sister has the free standing version that uses the same mechanism and it's equally as good. Considering the price difference, lack of bulk, and lack of need for a power source, I think this would be a better solution than my automatic paper towel dispenser in a lot of situations.

Good quality, well packaged, easy to fit, great because it stops the roll coming off when you pull a sheet off.

The ratchet mechanism and sprung retainer stops it from unspooling accidentally but is still well balanced to avoid difficulty in turning the roll. Unlike other flimsy or loose clamp dispensers it’s actually pleasant to use and the roll will not fall out when you try to use it. It looks sufficiently well made and designed to leave visible in a utility area. The end cap looks good but doesn’t obstruct standard Australian size paper towel rolls from being inserted (you can also unscrew that part if needed). We didn’t try to attach it with double sided adhesive but did use screw fittings as I expect it would eventually fall off due to the ratchet tension if using adhesive attachment. Would definitely recommend it.
