SimplyAir 1/400 United Airplane Model Kits Plastic Airplane Model for Collection and Display

This is a great airplane model for those of you who still want a fun airplane at about half the cost. Fits in well with all our other 1/400 model airplanes and really does look similar. The main difference is that this plane is primarily plastic vs alloy. It honestly still looks just as good and if it's for a child to play with they love it just the same. The details are really nice and well done. Our little AV geek child integrated this new aircraft into his fleet quickly and he was ready for lift off in no time!

This plane is nice and fits in well with other models that I have, but there are a couple of things that I dislike -- first, it has a lot of plastic parts, rather than metal. It feels a little cheaper than most of these models. I'm also afraid that the decal will come off over time, as it already feels loose. Finally, I'm disappointed that it doesn't come with some type of stand; it sits level on a shelf rather than looking like it's going to take off. All in all, it's pretty nice, though.
