Beautiful screen, poor picture-by-picture
Amazing screen for office work, crisp and bright, and huge amount of space. But the picture-by-picture is a let down which I could only solve with a complex workaround. The plan was to be able to move easily between my work and home laptops. But the monitor might allow that only installing LG software on both and, guess, no corporate IT would allow unknown software installations. So LG didn't think this through. The joystick solution is flimsy and will eventually break down. Even when it works, the two screens are poor quality. The solution was to allow the personal laptop to accept incoming Remote Desktop Connection and RDP into it from the corporate laptop (my IT allows that). Then I have picture-IN-picture, resizeable and perfect quality. Not for everyone and do put some policies to limit inbound connections from hackers (only connect from a fixed IP assigned to your work laptop within the LAN IP range, password fail lockouts, etc).

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Surprisingly Perfect!
I initially bought this LG 34WR55QK UltraWide Monitor by mistake, thinking it was 35 inches, as I was looking for a replacement of my broken 35 inches LG one, but I’m so glad I kept it! The 34-inch size is still incredibly immersive, and the 1440p resolution delivers crisp and vibrant visuals. 🖥️ Fantastic Display: The VA panel offers deep blacks and great contrast, making it perfect for both work and entertainment. Colors look rich, and the curved screen adds to the immersive experience. ⚡ Smooth Performance: The 100Hz refresh rate and 5ms response time provide a fluid experience, whether I’m browsing, gaming, or working. 🔌 Versatile Connectivity: Love that it comes with USB-C (65W Power Delivery), DisplayPort, and HDMI, making it super convenient for my setup. 🌿 Smart Energy Saving: Nice to have an energy-efficient monitor that doesn't compromise on performance. Even though it wasn’t my original choice, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s the perfect balance of size, performance, and features. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a high-quality ultrawide monitor! 😊

Superb monitor, Great quality and perfect for any work environment
Why did you choose this product over others?: Cost, Brand Name, USB-C Hub and Adjustable height Monitor quality: Superb panel, bright, well constructed and feels sturdy on my desk Functionality: Seems to have everything i could want in a monitor aside from some speakers - i've since found that i have a Bluetooth enabled speaker already on my desk that i wasn't using Ease of setup: Given this was the biggest monitor i've ever setup it was also the easiest - the process was 2 or 3 steps and it was ready to use, adjust and get ready for some intensive use.

Excellent monitor for work
Excellent monitor. Perfect for work. Easy to set up and connect. The 2 input ports allow me to switch between work computer and personal computer with ease. Quality is great. Had to get another stand just so i can adjust the height.

Sound and color check
I saw very tiny dot in the screen but I don’t want to pack for return and I don’t want to carry this, therefore, I just use it. However, overall quality is really worth it. Colour accuracy is fine. User friendly functionality and easy to set up for beginners.

Serious Upgrade for Work and Play
This LG UltraWide has completely changed the way I use my desktop setup. The 34-inch curved screen gives you so much real estate to work with. It’s perfect for multitasking, editing, or having multiple windows open without needing a second monitor. The 3440x1440 resolution is crisp and sharp, and the curve makes it feel immersive without being over the top. I mainly use it for productivity and media work, and it handles everything beautifully. Text is clear, colours are accurate, and the brightness is solid. The USB-C connectivity is a game changer. I can plug my laptop in and get power, display, and data all through one cable. It also has built-in KVM support which is very useful if you’re switching between devices. The build quality feels premium, and the stand is sturdy with decent adjustment options. Speakers are there if you need them. Not amazing, but perfectly fine for casual use. If you’re after an ultrawide that’s great for work and still enjoyable for media or light gaming, this one is a strong contender. LG nailed it with this display.

Great quality upgrade
This is great, exceeded my expectations. I had one standard shape 24inch monitor before this and the difference is great, im now comfortably working with wo to three screens of data updates the same time. Set up involved... plugging it in so that was easy. Picture looks great and it feels like a solid build.

Average, probably avoid!
Cheap, cheerful and rubbish for office work! I have been using an 2019 23.7" LG Ultrafine 4k monitor with my M1 MacBook Pro. Text is razor sharp and colours are accurate - but I often need to use multiple applications when I'm working, so decided to try out an ultrawide monitor as an alternative to going to a duel monitor set up. Having mounted the new LG ultra wide screen on my VESA mount, I plugged in via USB-C and the monitor came to life immediately. The image was pretty washed out but with some tweaks to the colour 'mode' I found a setting (cinema) where the colours were vibrant, but not over saturated. Nothing to match the white balance, saturation and contrast of the 4K Ultrafine however. It's pretty easy to find your way around the settings using the onboard OS. I think there is a separate (phone?) app for additional controls - but I never got that far in my testing. I could see straight away that the Mac OS text looked pretty hazy, especially on the outer edges of the screen. As I proceeded to do some basic scrolling on webpages I noticed that the any blocks of colour would change as I scrolled - (e.g. oranges became yellows) until the movement stopped and they returned to their original colour again. Opening up a word document confirmed that this monitor just isn't up to the task of displaying sharp or clear text - distinctly average for a screen of this size and concerning given the advertised high refresh rate. Finally I pulled up a YouTube clip in '4K' and this looked surprisingly good. Motion was smooth and the picture was clear. the speakers weren't bad either, although located at the base of the monitor and firing downwards which doesn't help with intelligibility. Whilst the LG was compatible with my Mac over USB-C, the monitor backlight kept coming on and shutting off again despite my Mac being in sleep mode - I couldn't work out why this was happening - something to be aware of if you are planning on using a modern Mac with this display. I didn't use the HDMI inputs so I can't say if the behaviour would be the same there. I'm not sure I could really recommend this to anyone. Maybe if you are purely watching video content then it might be ok, but for general use or word processing etc. it really sucks. Probably better off with a 27" flat 4k display which is bound to have better performance, or paying a bit more for a better ultrawide. I have returned this product and ordered a ASUS Pro Art 34" ultrawide and I have high hopes that this will be a worthy successor to the 4K Ultrafine.
