Ideal Industries 45-121 T-Stripper Wire Stripper

I have these in my hand daily, best handle shape, stripes well, can cut seal-tite plastic jacket, crack it, cut the metal, then tidy up, all with one tool.

Works great to strip insulation from smaller gauge wires.

Have had a pair of these for decades and their still good as new. I bought this as a second pair so I could keep them at two different places and not have to keep running back and forth to get them. Just as good as ever. Perfect for electronics work.

My grandson was very pleased with these.

This is my go to set of strippers for electronics and instrumentation cable work. Cutters make nice smooth cuts (provided you don't abuse them), and the strips are crisp and always 100% through the insulation. What would make this 10x better would be two things: a handle material or color that didn't attract grime so easily (or at least cleaned up easier), and secondly, a handle lock!! Far too many times have I found these tumbling around in my toolbag, tangled with the rest of my tools. Would be great to lock and be able to slip into my back pocket. Otherwise, these will continue to be at the top of my list for these wire gauges.

In my opinion these are a classic tool that I always want to have around. This is my second pair of the 45-121's - I have an older pair that I purchased at a local big-box store in 1998 when I was an A/V installer that are still going strong, I just wanted another pair to have in my portable tool kit, as well as at home. The build quality is great, they cut and strip wire very well and the fit and feel in my hand is the best of any wire stripper I've tried - I've been working with electronics for over 20 years and I appreciate good tools. This fits the bill.

Did not notice no lever to lock tool closed

Between work and play I've used a lot of wire strippers and these are easily my favorite. I had bought them and liked them so much I brought them into work and everybody else loved them so our company threw out all our other ones and replaced them with these. If it has the right sizes for your needs just buy it. If you want them sooner, I think there's an Amazon prime set for like $2 more. And if you need a little bigger one these strippers have a bigger brother. I'm not sure the number code
