Custom Leathercraft DG5103 Small Durable Maintenance & Electrician's Pouch

I like it. I was hesitant to like it when it arrived. I thought it was too small and all of my tools would fall out. Ive been using it for about 2 weeks now and so far no spills. The pictures dont show, but on the inside theres a series of small loops to hold your tools in place. Again at first glance i thought they were too small as my tools barely fit, just the head (needlenose, linesman, testers). they also dont stretch. Turns out thats a pretty clever feature. The tools go in far enough where its secure but easy enough to pull out and put back in without struggling. Also I wear the pouch on my belt with the belt loop, I thought the clip would be annoying or dig in my skin but i barely feel it. The only complaint i have, For the size of the pouch i think the flashlight holder is a bit large. That space would be better served as a tape measure clip.

I recently purchased this product despite some bad reviews where people stated that their tools didn't fit properly and some other complaints. I have not had those negative experiences. Amazingly, ALL of my tools found a nice home in this pouch. I am not jumping on a trampoline or crawling on my belly under homes where I am certain tools may fall out. This is common sense. I have not used the metal clip so I can't say how durable that may be, but it does appear a tad weak. I closely inspected this pouch right out of the box and the quality looks just fine to me, especially for the price. If some stitches ever blow out I know a good shoe repair shop that can fix it up. I really do not foresee failure. The thing looks pretty tough. I have only been using it a couple of weeks but have found just the right combination of tools and established a nice order for where they live inside, or outside of the pouch. I am not affiliated with Amazon or Dewalt. Just a consumer like you.

I ordered this product for a job that I was shortly thereafter laid off from, so I unfortunately didn't get to use it much. I look forward to future jobs which will allow me to use it once more. The pouch itself is made of a durable woven thread. It feels high-quality, and allows for many different tools to be inserted in the pockets. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because of it's size. If you prefer a smaller pouch that still allows many tools, you'll love this. If you prefer a larger pouch able to fit more, then I'd look elsewhere. I had wanted a larger pouch, but the pricing is a big factor here. It's very well priced, making it easy to grab now and save up for a larger one if needed later.

I purchased this tool pouch for work because I found myself putting too many items in my apron and tearing holes in it. This thing is perfect for my needs. In work in a Japanese market/gift store/restaurant as a janitor / stocker and emergency cashier. The large pouch is perfect for my notebook. I carry pens and sharpness in the internal hoops as well as a pair of scissors and a screwdriver. I attach a measuring tape to the hoop on the side and clipping to the pouch. There is even space for my box cutting blade, and more pockets that I don't need but like thatntheynare there. I chose this pouch over others because of all the pockets as well as its compact design. I use this pouch constantly, and consider it necessary to my job. It is sturdy and has shown no signs of wear in 5 months of daily use. If it somehow broke on me, I would purchase it again in a heartbeat. I even take it home from time to time to help me carry my tools when I know I will need to make home repairs. A great tool pouch.

I purchased this for the small set of tools I need for my usual maintenance work, and it works just fine. Sturdy without being stiff, big enough for everything (2 screwdrivers, 2 wrenches, flashlight, tape measure, electrical & plumbing tape, Altoid box of washers, Altoid box of electrical bits, pencil, pen, notebook, big ring of keys, phone) without getting in the way. I appreciate it having a clip as well as a belt loop, as I usually have to just grab it and run. It does have a tendency to gap open, especially if it is fully laden, but an elastic loop and a hook on either side of the gap solved the problem. After that, I decided to remove one of the inner loops and replace it with an adjustable velcro loop (a few things were a bit too big or irregular to fit in the fixed loops). I expect to have to modify the flashlight loop a bit after the new one arrives, but that's just my odd taste in flashlights. I suppose the fact that it isn't perfect is balanced by how easy it is to monkey with it. Would also make a good man-bag if you really need to butch up.

If you are looking for something to carry the basic tools needed everyday this may be for you. I was tired of lugging a 40 pound over the shoulder bag up 3 flights of stairs every time I got a call and was looking for a bag that would fit the basics in. This bag seems to do the job. It is deep enough that the tools wont just fall out. Has enough pockets to keep the smaller tools in, and even comes with a clip to hold some things in place. I ended up having to use the strap and clip together to hold in my wrenches but seeing how I dont typically need electrical tape this isn't a huge issue. My biggest concern was the clip digging into my side since I was planning on avoiding the belt situation for easier accessibility. It is comfortable overall. The uneven weight on one side makes it a bit odd to walk around 24/7 but this is the case with any tool bag. Another worry of mine was that I wouldn't be able to keep everything that I would like in it. I had to shave down my desired tools a bit due to size constraints but that is to be expected. Once I thought about it a bit what was able to fit will tackle 90% of the jobs, which is the goal for this anyways. So to summarize if you are looking for a miracle pouch that will hold EVERYTHING you need to keep looking. But if you are like me and just want something to hold the bare bones tools that you use frequently this will do the job.

Al ser Dewalt no esperaba menos, está hecha de muy buenos materiales, los espacios para herramientas están bien distribuidos y puedes cargar de todo, tiene donde meter el cinturón y también un clip lo que la hace práctica, el clip es como para emergencias en caso de olvidar el cinturón ya que no tiene buen agarre pero cumple su función, la compré en oferta por menos de 500 y comprare otra en cuanto baje de nuevo, por el precio siento que lo vale mucho, he comprado de otras marcas por 200 o 309 y no duran ni un par de meses, muy recomendable.

Gostei muito, tem uma boa capacidade volumétrica, dá pra carregar a grande maioria das minhas ferramentas de uso constante, não apenas para serviços de eletricidade, muito prática e bem construída. Recomendo.
