It states that this product is okay with the Lenovo thinkpad t430,but it is no good for this model as it doesn't fit.

So just if someone is like me and doesn’t understand too much about these things. I purchased this to replace the regular charger for the Lenovo laptop, because the laptop charging socket was ruined, so thought I could charge through the usb socket. It isn’t a usb socket, it’s tip is rectangular (the yellow end) but it has a metal dot in the middle of the socket, so doesn’t work for the usb socket at all. Wish it was clearer. Returning.
