I thought this book was pretty good. Had a lot of funny moments, a couple sad moments, and surprising moments as well.*Spoilers*I was honestly surprised at how much relationship drama was going on within Sloane's team. Everyone besides Letty and Rosa had personal problems going on that was affecting their work performance. The team was literally falling apart because of it and thankfully they were functioning as a team during the times when they seriously needed to be. Sometimes the drama was a bit much.I actually respect and like Ash a but more in this book. I never disliked or liked him, but I knew he would have a book later on with Cael, so I know things will eventually work out with them. But I have come to realize that he is a sweeter guy underneath his anger, but I also now understand the reasoning behind his anger, why he is in such denial about liking guys, and also with what was going on with him throughout the book. I am happy to see that Dex is starting to get along with Ash and is really starting to care about him - not that he hadn't before, but he's seen a different side of Ash and is wanting to see him get back on his feet, and is even worried about him since he isn't himself after he rejected Cael. I really didn't like Cael's reaction to his rejection and leading on Seb, as Sebastian is a nice guy who is still in love with Hudson. But as Dex had said, they are both adults and Hudson won't give Seb the time of day right now.The scene with Sloane visiting Gabe's grave and finally coming to terms and moving on was heartbreaking.I was not expecting who was the mole. I honestly thought it could have been Taylor, with how annoying he was with Dex and the way he kept popping up. But Dex was right about one thing, the quiet ones are the ones you should keep your eyes on (even though he was referring to Calvin at the time)There were a few confusing moments, such as Sloane's conversation with Sparks about how he apparently chose to have Isaac killed instead of keeping him alive. The ending scene was sad, but I liked how Ash - despite being severely injured - rushed out to protect Dex from getting killed and tried comforting Dex (and probably himself) with what happened to Sloane. Sloane was right about there being some sort of darkness underneath Dex's happiness that he shows to everyone, but I never thought it stemmed from what had happened to his parents. I really hope someone can draw him back, because I would hate to see him go to the dark side - no matter how interested I am to see what he would do or how differently he would act. Love can be a dangerous thing sometimes. I also think that maybe Ash and Dex might get along better after this.

A rating....
My Review:Overall.... 4.5Performance... 4.5Story.... 4.5What can I say about this book that I haven't already said about the other two? It's actually pretty simple... This series just gets better and better, but you need to read/listen to all the books in order...and if you haven't done that yet, then YOU NEED TO!But honestly, things between Dex and Sloane have been going on now for quite a few months and they are getting more settled overall in their relationship. I loved them in this book. They are so cute and fun and good together. And I don't think I've mentioned it yet, but wow, they are sexy too...sooo sexy, but that's been pretty consistent throughout the entire series. But while things have been really good between the two of them, the team is having some real difficulties. Calvin and Hobbs are at odd. Cael and Ash are in a weird place because Ash, for the first time ever, is pretty much ignoring Cael and he doesn't know how to handle that. Although they've never been romantically involved, they have that style relationship...just without the sex and kissing. But now they don't even have that weird closeness that everyone has gotten used to and no one knows why.And the entire team is having zero luck finding clues as to where the Coalition is going to strike next. The suspense and action was great, although I will admit that this side of the book seemed like a lot of setting up for Book #4. Oh, and note...you probably really want to have #4 ready to read as soon as this one is done, because there is a HUGE cliffhanger to it. Luckily, I had a copy, but I am sad that #4 isn't available yet in audiobook, because I've really loved listening to the series so far. This narrator is fabulous. But I'm not willing to wait for the next audiobook to come out. I'm ready to read #4...NOW! It just better not stop on a cliffhanger since #5 isn't out yet.But overview...I love it and HIGHLY recommend it, but you need to read the whole series, not just this one.

Engaging
Dex is ridiculous but I would definitely want him on my side. He doesn't give up. I think that he and Sloane are perfect for each other.

Betrayed
There's a mole in the Thirds organization. Dex, Sloane, and the rest of team Destructive Delta fight tooth and nail to find the mole and stop the Therians and Humans from destroying each other. Is the mole one of their own? As Dex and Sloane become even closer, the rest of team Destructive Delta are being torn apart. This third installment of the Thirds universe is full of the action, intrigue, humor, and heat we love in Charlie Cochet's Thirds series.

The use of words
In this book you used the GD word 8 times. This number is better than the last book. But any use of this word will not get a very good review from me no matter how good I think a book is.

Onward
This is another great book in the series. Dex and Sloan have settled into their relationship, but the issues between the races are heating up.

Great read
So much action in Rack and Ruin as the members of Destructive Delta have their hands full tracking down members of the Order and Coalition, AND deal with a mole within the THIRDS organisation.Dex and Sloane’s relationship is slowly progressing in the right direction, with Sloane becoming more accepting of his feelings for Dex. I really can’t wait to dive into Ash and Cael’s book, there is so much tension simmering away between these 2. Same with Calvin and Hobbs.Great ending to this book - action filled all the way through.

Amazing Ending
The plot and character growth was so well done! The author makes it really hard to dislike anyone on Destructive Delta and at the same time make you so frustrated with them sometimes! The ending was a fantastic twist and set-up for book 4 and I have to start it immediately!

Exciting book in mm series
WOW this series just keeps getting better. This book is very high on the action scale as the troubles between the different factions in this reimagined earth keep increasing and also getting more convoluted. Great book.
