This is a really basic product, but it’s pretty genius. It protects counters from hot tools like curling irons, flat irons, etc. I like how it can actually be used to wrap your tools so you can pack them for travel while they are still warm without worrying about if they will damage other items.I think this is a cheap, must-have item for anyone who regularly uses hot hair tools. The white is nice looking and doesn’t stick out on my white vanity top.

Amazing product. Portable. Just the right size for the space. It’s comforting to know our curling/flat irons will not burn any surfaces. I’m only sorry I didn’t come up with this idea!!

It’s the best mat for keeping my hair straightener and hair heated brush from ruining my bathroom counter. You can easily travel with it too.

I keep these to use for hot hair products to prevent damage to counters. I burned a counter once with a flat iron and wanted to remove this worry with my new remodel. The are nice sized, convenient to store away, and seem like they will be easy to clean if needed. So far the counters stay nice and cool underneath. I also bought one to use under my home wax machine to prevent sticky counter messes.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this product to use under a coffee heating element. My side tables are made of a very heavy fabric but it would get warm. And this is perfect for that and the fact that it has a neutral color made it nice as well

I got this because I always do my hair last with a straightener and then my family needs to check out of hotels immediately after during travel. Id often carry the straightener separately until it cooled enough to store in my suitcase. But with this, I can wrap it up and store immediately while it's still hot. No part of the heated plate is exposed to anything that could burn. It made me a little nervous the first time I used it as it doesn't roll up the tightest and the little securing loop doesnt loop over super tight either. But once you tuck it into your bag, it's fine and holds up well. I also use it on my bathroom counter now just for some added heat protection
