I used this tent on a 1 week canoe trip on the St Croix river, WI
This is a great tent for canoeing, but way too bulky, and heavy for backpack hiking.Pros:NO CENTER POLE I'm +6ft and can stand up to get dressed. No more contortion exercises getting dressed, and you can walk out/in standing up on two feet instead of crawling out every morning.FAST SET UP The fastest I have ever used (no more threading fiberglass poles in the wind and rain) Unfold and BINGO, you're done. I has great accessory parts, including guy lines and attachment points for tethering in high winds, which we experienced.THE PORCH IS SOOO USEFUL So nice to sit under during a light rain. We kept gear under the canopy roof, and when it really started to pour rain, we pulled the poles out, and let the canopy fall down to cover all the gear outside the tent. We then went out the back door when needed. It's nice to have dry stuff in the morning.THE FLY HAS BLACKOUT LINING The sun did not wake us up at dawn every morning.VENTILATION IS SUPERB Two large arched screen openings along the bottom, allow air in and it circulates up, out the top vents.SOMEBODY GAVE THIS TENT SOME SERIOUS DESIGN THOUGHT The tie downs and tethering points make for a very sturdy enclosure. We were in a Lake Superior rain storm (high wind and rain) and everything was just fine in the morning. It sheds really well. We had one small leak because a bottom zipper wasn't fully closed.Cons:THE CARRY BAG IS TOO SMALL . It takes two people to stuff and zip it all back in. and it isn't easy, but doable.2 IS COMPANY, 3's A CROWD, 4 YOU BETTER ALL LIKE EACH OTHER. My daughter and I shared this tent and we used cots. The center aisle (no pole) makes this extremely comfortable for 2 people. Beyond 2 people I don't know. Maybe, with sleeping bags only. You know, step over bodies as you go to take a piss at night.Nuf saidI like this tent a lot, they should design one with a stove whole for winter camping

Good build quality… not the advertised size
Initial setup: this tent is super simple to set up alone. I’m 5’8” and had no issues. Could even do it before the extensions are locked if shorter. The main canine has retractable extensions (like a canopy) and part of the tent (there is a way to pull it out if you really need to, but it comes combined) and a simple 90° latch fits it into the base holder to keep it taught (it is plastic, so time will tell how long that lasts)The top rainfly/cover slides over the top and buckles into the corners, unzip the awning, add the extension poles and tie downs, and that’s basically it. The cover is also a blackout liner as you can see by the pics, was pretty dark so neighbors lights shouldn’t be an issueThe ropes are good, but I really liked the stakes. Tri-fluted stakes with a pull cord made of aluminum and anodized red. Sharp looking, and sharp. Hold very nicely and should last forever2 reasons for not giving it a 5 star1 (primary) it is advertised for 4-5 people… as you can see in the picture, that’s only 2 cots. Not sure if you could get 4-5 oompah loompahs fitting in there, maybe standing.2. Long term use: only initially set up and while the build quality looks good, will test it next month during a RAGNAR. Will report back later with an update[UPDATE]I knew beforehand I read this was a 5-8 person tent hence why I bought it. It even said it on the label on the box. But, I have returned this tent. I took it out for 1 weekend, and while setup was a breeze, my head and feet touch opposite walls, and I’m 5’8” (with a pillow) so not large enough for my purpose

Set up was easy, over all good tent!
I’ve owned several ground tents. This one is the coolest tent by far. easy setup, love all features. very roomy and style points! only wish the fabric was a littler thicker, or at least ripstop. i’ll only use it a few times a year so it should hold up just fine.

Arrived with one of the legs broken, rendering it unusable. Also, not a great design height wise.
Product arrived broken. One of the notches on the legs wouldn't snap into place because it was loose. Also, the design makes heigh space almost inaccessible, prepare to crouch or kneel often. Amazon Customer Service was a huge pain and refuses to compensate or return the tent, leaving me with broken, damaged, and unusable goods.

Easiest setup ever 🥳 3min up and down
I took this fun camping tent with my 2 kids and cattle dog. So 1 adult and 2 children 8 &9, and a medium size dog , fit snuggled up together. We enjoyed our sleepover, snuggled together as a family should while camping. Another review said the tent was too small, and yes I’d agree if you like to sleep alone, as your own cot, or air mattress. That won’t work in this tent. It’s designed to be fun, and easy to set up, while bonding with your family, or friends, whom you go camping with. To each is own, and this one was perfect for us. This photo ended with lots of lighting at night and the storm moved over the other mountain range and passed our campsite. Hallelujah 🏕️🏔️⚡️🌲✨❤️

Great Tent!
We only used this once, along with auger-style anchors. We were set up on an extremely! windy beach and the tent held up well (no tears or issues). It was unclear on the instructions what went where. There were videos online showing similar tents, but they were just slightly different and we did struggle with the setup a bit. We figured out a configuration that worked and overall, we were happy with the quality.

Looks great
Kinda flimsy and complicated but great once up

It’s smaller than you think
How they describe it is wrong. They don’t feed them many people. This is too small and I’m only 5.5 I do not recommend it for more than two people
