This is the very best craft kit I have purchased this Christmas season. My 6 year old Granddaughter was able to make everything in the box & will give most of them as presents to friends & family. The kit makes sun catchers, river stones complete with all the stencils, paints, glue, suction cups & paint brushes, markers & magnets. It's absolutely wonderful!!'

I've learned over several crafting projects that when paints aren't marketed as "washable," they're just not kid-friendly. Adult supervision and assistance will be required.The crafts this kit makes are cute and fun, but let's be honest, we're not making heirlooms here. They're cheap, but not obnoxious or offensive to have around the house, and good for building Christmas spirit. Be sure to put down newspaper or craft paper to save your surfaces.The markers are small but the tips are narrow and good to color the intricate details. Not washable - stray marks will stain hands does a few days.Now, the paints. There are two kinds. One set in the little paint pots, one set in tubes. Neither are washable. The pot paints, which are relatively opaque, come off hands with some soap and scrubbing. The tube paints, which are allegedly "glow in the dark" do not glow, and you'll need a solvent like nail polish remover to get it off skin or surfaces. The paint in the tubes translucent enough for light to pass through for sun catchers, and they come with suction cups to hang.All in all, a fun little kit, particularly for artistic kids over 7. The small intricate drawings aren't easy for younger kids, so find something else for the young ones.

I gave this to my crafty grand daughters & boy O boy they got busy as soon as they opened the box!! Big smiles all around.
