I'm a notebook junkie. I searched for a full-size journal-type notebook - think of a much bigger version of the Field Notes (some of my favs). This is the one. It's my go-to 8.5" x 11" journal.

Love the hard cover and the paper. Very nice purchase.

The paper is thick, the perforation at the top and on the spiral side. The spiral is big enough for me to get my pen in. These are perfect.

So they’re ok. When they arrived I didn’t like them they had a cheap look about them and I’m not sure why because they’re fine. Once I painted the cover that helped. For people who like using a spiral journal they are a good size and paper is decent. The price point was decent

JUST what I wanted. Heavy duty spiral. Solid heavy-duty front and back covers. NO. Bending. Pages easily kept intact.

Love these notebooks! The hardback cover allows you to write without having to rest the book on something. The plain black cover can be personalized with your own artwork or stickers. They are bound with a double wire that makes them easy to open, close, and turn the pages. Nothing gets stuck and needs to be untangled or separated. The paper is a beautiful creamy white with college ruled lines and a space at the top for the date and page number in a coordinating shade of light gray. The pages are perforated for neat removal.The paper worked well with pencil, fine liners, ball point pen, gel pens, brush nibs, fountain pens, and fine tip sharpies.There are no interior pockets or other special features...just a beautiful, simple notebook that's a pleasure to use.Recommended!

I like the notebooks a lot! They are really sturdy, but they don't feel super heavy, even with the 8.5" by 11" size. I find that a lot of larger notebooks end up being uncomfortably heavy. Even though this one is larger and not super heavy, the paper is still good quality! I tried a lot of different pens, pencils, markers, and highlighters, and they all worked well on the paper. Permanent marker doesn't even really bleed through the page too terribly - you can see the writing on the other side, but I feel like you can still have legible writing on both sides, if that makes sense. It definitely didn't bleed through to the next page. Pencil and erasable pen both erase perfectly without damaging the page. Highlighter dries evenly on it and doesn't bleed through. The texture of the paper is really nice and smooth, and the color is nice, too. The covers are sturdy, with a matte surface. The wire binding is also really sturdy and doesn't bend easily. I think that my only complaint is that the pages are a little bit difficult to tear out on the perforation, but the notebooks are so nice otherwise, that I don't think it takes away from the quality very much.
