I have purchased several of these cameras for me and others. Nice camera. Good video. The AI humanoid detection and following of people is a great feature. Easy to install.

This camera has a solid build and will work with blue iris using ONVIF as WIRED ONLY. It will work as wireless aka WiFi only with CamHipro application. here is why. You can set it up by connecting through the wire and using the browser interface. Initially, it used DHCP and you will need to find out what IP was assigned to it. However, there is no way to set a static IP address for the Wi-Fi portion. Furthermore, if you disconnect the ethernet wire then wifi disconnects as well by going into some hidden mode ( all ports closed). It would still be visible through the CamHipro app but will be useless if you try to integrate it into your Blueiris environment. If you plug the ethernet cable back and set a static IP address BlueIris will be able to discover and use it. Even if you plan to use it as only a wired connection note that it is not PoE and it will require installing CamHipro on your phone to activate AuroTracking. No, go for me since I just can't run ethernet to that spot where I need to place this camera.

I may have just got a defective one…. But it would connect to 2.4ghz briefly & then drop connection & would need to do a reset to get it to connect again. I have multiple IP cameras & this is the only one dropping so I know it’s not my WiFi. Returned.

Nope. Don't do it. Once you get over the uhh and ahhs of I can "see". Getting into the app, you will discover some glitches and very mediocre settings. The night vision ir's will start clicking on and off at night. One minute you have ir black and white. Next, it goes to colormode. The app will lockup at times. Loss connection. My wi-fi is super fast and stable. The camera is 25 ft. away with excellent line of sight.The app camhi pro is horrible especially the motion detection masking.A positive. Excellent daytime and night vision, when it works.

First, from a perspective of doing a direct set up and using one of the recommended Apps I'd say install and set up is easy but you'll find some fine tuning is needed in many cases so just be patient and if your new to installing camera's such as this one there will be a learning curve as you work to fine tune the NV side of your images collection. One thing to note PTZ cameras have a wide range in price, as low as 60USD up to and beyond 300+ USD and beyond that so for this price point I'd say your getting a decent camera. Now if your integrating this into a larger back end system it could be difficult because (as many many know) not all cameras are going to integrate into all back end systems. Many systems try to be universally compatible but its not uncommon to lose some fidelity in functionality when trying to tweak some settings on this camera through an operating back end which the company does not specify the camera to be compatible with. Just something to note.
