Downside is that you are consuming additional calories and sugar in addition to the supplement. My doctor has advised that humans do not need to take more than 30mg of zinc per day. Other online sources state something similar, that 40mg should be the upper limit. These gummies provide 50mg from a serving size of 2 gummies. Based on that information, I would advise you to only take one gummy unless you specifically need extra zinc as advised by your medical professional.
