Great candling light and hold a charge for a long time. I think out of daily use for 2 weeks I charged it once. Came in handy when my broody hen decided it was time for more babies too! Once you get the technique down, very easy to use to capture the little miracles. ❤️🐣

Works well Canlin eggs and it works on some dark eggs

Was a nice light but it lost 1 star because due to the battery size you would have to order online for one because it doesn’t use regular size batteries like AA OR AAA batteries.

Light is super bright! Come with a charger for the battery. Works perfectly for candling chicken eggs!

This is a really great candler. It does as it describes. I did not get to use it at the beginning but did use at the end and it worked great. it fits right on the top of the egg.

I have used a different egg candler in the past, and I thought it was good. My previous light had a wide mouthed attachment to cradle the egg a little bit- I was nervous with how small the end of this light is- requiring good dexterity for sure- but it is worth it! As shown here, lighter eggs- you can see just fine, even in daylight! With my darker eggs, I could not see through with my previous light, even in the dark! This light shines bright through darker eggs- in the dark! I also like that it comes with a charger- hopefully that will decrease battery cost!

I think a small flashlight works just as well if not better than this NestEcho Egg Candler. I found it hard to see the yolk with this light. I shut off all other lights in the room and still think a small flashlight works better. We have brown eggs and are trying to identify cracks or abnormalities in the yolks. A small inexpensive flashlight with good batteries works fine. Hope this is helpful!

Two stars because the charger doesn't fit into Australian sockets. The battery is a very odd size, I don't think I'll be able to buy a new one. I bought the product off Amazon.au so would expect products to be suitable. I'll have to buy an American adaptor!
