Q: Is it the real thing only I doesn't smell like it?

This is NOT the real EDP by SJP. I have worn the real one several times and it smells lovely and lasts for ages! The one I bought from Amazon is fake and the smell is okay but only lasts for about 30 minutes. It is fake - don't waste your money. This is why it's so cheap but Amazon should have explained that this product is NOT the real perfume spray.

Q: Would this perfume suit a lady in her fifties ?

I would definitely say that it will, because of its combined sense it would probably suit everybody. I call it chameleon perfume. When I put it on during the day it smells one way and it smells different on evening wear. It's fresh and classy at the same time.

No not really. The smell doesn't last very long either
