Q: How much should it be round the neck in inches for size medium?

I bought this for a 12 year old very slim girl, who had strained her neck. It is adjustable and it was very comfortable for her. She was no more than 12 inches round the neck at the time.

Q: I am male, and wear a 16inch shirt collar. Does this qualify me to order a medium size brace. ??

Yes the medium would be suitable for use up to 16 1/2 in collar sizes.

Q: the depth refers to the height of the collar at which point? under the chin? or on the sides?

Hi although the collar is shaped the sizes referred to is for example ( medium depth 7.5cms ) its along the whole length of the collar !! Regards Long John

I measured from jaw bone to collar bone for depth. You would need measure thickest part of neck for circumferance.
