I got this for a sun shade for my pergola but the size doesn't fit my opening well enough. the cord they include so you can anchor it is pretty short so pretty much useless, I could not figure out any good way of making this work for my situation. I advise that you measure carefully before buying and figure out how you are going to attach this for your needs. I cant speak to how well it will hold up in the weather since I wasn't able to use it. Thanks for reading.

This sun shade makes a big difference on our patio, helping to block blazing afternoon heat. The grommets make it easy to install in between columns. It isn't our permanent solution, but for quick shade on a DIY budget, it's immediate, looks nice enough, and gets the job done.

The description ff 90% is accurate, this sunshade is installed over our balcony and it serves two purposes, one to have shade when we are enjoying the sundown and reducing the heat that radiates through the primary bedroom windows facing in the same direction.Very strong made and the grommets makes it easy to install.

My husband and I are remodeling our house. I got this shade cloth tarp to go on my back porch. It looks really nice and makes a lot of shade. I now love to sit on my back porch during the afternoon. At night it feels so I have a wall and makes the porch feel inviting. The manufacturer did a great job. It's well constructed, with great stitching, very durable fabric, and the perfect amount of grommets. Very happy with the price. I highly recommend this product.

I ordered this to hang on the west side of our pergola to block the sun for dinners outdoors. I tried to hang it using the zip ties, but the zip-ties are short, and there is fascia board on the beam that I would have preferred. There was only one short length of string for tying. I talked to my husband about placing nails for hanging it from the grommets, but he said that it is essentially a breathable tarp, and he thinks it looks cheap. He wants something nicer (roll-up shade or awning) for our space. I might find some other use for this.

I used this patio sun shade cloth on my balcony. I have the bars that you can see through, and for some reason it bothers me knowing people can see everything on my balcony. I zip tied this cloth to the railing on one side, then ran it along the railing and zip tied the other end to the railing. It fit great and not only does it block the looky loos from seeing my balcony, it blocks out the sun great.The cloth is a great size and its nice and thick. It also comes with plenty of zip ties and rope for you to hang it where you like. In my opinion it is overpriced but it's currently 30% off and that puts the price where I think it needs to be. Good value buy!
