Amazing product!! I love to floss and was excited to try this product. I’ve been using my electric flosser for a little while now, and overall I’m really impressed. It definitely makes flossing easier and quicker than using traditional string floss. I feel like my teeth and gums get a much more clean, and I’ve noticed less bleeding over time, which tells me my gum health is improving. The device itself is comfortable to hold and has different pressure settings, which is nice if your gums are sensitive. The battery life is strong, I can go days without recharging and it’s much quieter than I expected. I highly recommend this product.

Excellent, the size, make, color and design is very beautiful. It fits well in your hand. It’s very easy to floss your teeth, the vibrator does the job for you and the stuck food comes out of your teeth better than the manual floss. The tongue cleaner is also very gentle on your tongue, the tongue looks fresh and clean. It does not hurt or leave redness. I like it a lot. I will use it whenever I need extra cleanliness of the mouth. I also use other kind of regular flosses which I have always been using. I put them in a small ziplock bags and keep them around for easy reach. The new sonic one is very special it has added benefits for teeth, gums and for overall good oral health. You can enjoy your teeth for eating, beauty as long as you. I recommend this device to others.

Slate Electric Flosser is the Best!!! Say goodbye to wooden toothpicks, dental floss you use by hand and plastic flossers you pick you teeth with to get the bits of food left from enjoying your dinner or favorite restaurant. Slate Electric Flosser is easy and fast! It takes care of all those hidden pieces of food that get stuck and does it fast! I’ve had a crown with a gap that’s caught bits of everything I’ve eaten for literally years. This great Flosser has no problem getting to that gap and removing anything there! You’ll be glad you bought it!!

This is my review of a Slate Flosser I purchased, not based on a free product. This is a fantastic product, well designed, nicely packaged and convenient. Instructions are clear, the device comes with sufficient charge for several uses before needed to recharge. The proprietary charging cable has a strong magnet to easily connect and charge. The unit is comfortable to grip, vibrations settings are three and it remembers the last used setting. The good: the floss heads have ribbed sides to clean the gums. They are easy to swap, they firmly attach to the flosser. The memory setting prevents having to push the button until the desired power setting is achieved. Battery life is good. Instructions are clear and the unit comes well packaged. The bad: Slate took a page from Apple and ships the product with no power adapter. They recommend at least 20w which is a standard now but for the price it should have included the power adapter. The heads are expensive, seems they want to recover R&D costs as soon as possible, I guess that number of glossers sold versus number of replacement heads sold will give them a comparison point and lower the price. A head that last about a week of less at $30 per box of 20 is hard to justify for 450 strings that go between your teeth and start breaking immediately. Final impression: I will use it for a while, works great, but will see if pricing for consumables go down, I hope. I don’t think we will see knockoff heads any time soon.

The battery lasts a long time between charges, and the overall performance is consistently great. The build quality is solid, the device is quiet and it's fairly portable. If you're tired of flossing being a chore (or skipping it altogether), this device will change that. I was surprised how easy it was to get between teeth, especially those hard-to-reach spots in the back. Bottom line: It’s a bit of an investment upfront, but if you care about your teeth, it’s totally worth it.

I was excited to see the Slate Electric Flosser on Amazon as I have been wanting to, and recently did, order one for my daughter. First off, I am now a month plus with almost exclusively using the Slate Flosser. I truly enjoy its results. That said, I wanted to share my Slate journey, because it might be helpful to others who could miss this awesome product, like I almost did, due to their initial experiences. I purchased my first flosser directly from the Slate company about a year ago. Admittedly, my first try with it was not fabulous. I have long been a string-floss gal. I found I had the early stages of gum disease when pregnant with my second child (20 years ago). After the time, pain, and expense of getting my gums and teeth back into shape, I have been a flosser ever since. I have tried various floss picks and long-handled flossers, but keep coming back to string floss. So when I tried the Slate, it was going to be an uphill battle to get me to switch. That battle didn’t start well. My first attempt was frustrating as it took a lot longer than I expected to stand in front of the mirror and figure out the unit angle required to insert the floss between each tooth. And when I bumped my teeth wrong, the vibration would intensify as the flossing unit hit my teeth and startled me. With all the time it was taking just to insert the floss, I really didn’t take the additional time to move the flosser back and forth to allow the gum sweeps to do their job. My zeal waned and I eventually stopped using the flosser. Fast forward eight or so months. I continued to receive occasional emails from Slate with offers and testimonials of people loving the Slate and sharing rave reviews from their dental visits. That, combined with looking at the investment sitting, unused, in the corner of my bathroom counter finally convinced me to give the Slate another shot and stick with it for at least a couple weeks. Initially, I felt the same frustration at how long the process was taking, but noticed that within several days I had built up the muscle memory to efficiently get the floss into the angles of my teeth without having to look in the mirror. I also bumped my teeth with the unit less and less frequently. I started using the gum sweeps and found I really appreciated their function. (The company calls them the secret sauce and I now have to agree.) I even started using the tongue scraper. After a couple weeks, I found that flossing with the Slate was just as fast, if not faster, than with my traditional floss—even with adding the back and forth motion for the gum sweeps. Plus my gums looked and felt so much healthier. Now, while I do occasionally pull out my string floss, my new first choice is the Slate electric flosser. I recommend giving it a try—or a retry. I’m glad I did.
