UPDATE -- I am updating my review of this product after living with it for a couple of months. Two of my previous issues were more my fault than the camera/mirror defects. The first of these is the visibility of the display -- if you leave the mirror/display oriented to the rear of your vehicle, as it would be if the mirror was being used conventionally, you will get lots of reflections from outside. If you orient the display directly toward the driver the reflections go away and visibility is much improved.The second issue was the message that appears in the middle of the display trying to get you to pair the Wolfbox with your phone. It took me a while to find it, but you can cancel this display by pushing the little icon at the very top-right of the display.I'm still trying to make the app work with my bluetooth/wifi configuration and it insists on 2.4 rather than 5 GHz. Apparently you have to set your router to 2.4 GHz if you want to use the app...and I really don't want to reset the router.Despite this issue and despite that I would like the display a little brighter, it's a 4.75-star-review in my book and that's close enough to 5 for me.ORIGINAL --Two serious issues with this system --first, the display is very dark in bright sunlight and difficult to view even when adjusted to maximum brightness. Second, after about thirty minutes of driving, the display is blocked by a large black rectangle requiring you to link your phone to the system -- there is no way to turn this off and it will stay on and block the rearview until powered off.

I have been using the WOLFBOX G850 PRO 4K Mirror Dash Cam for about 2 weeks and so far I am thoroughly impressed. The rear view mirror camera is crystal clear and the rear is pretty good as well. I have rear camera installed on the inside of my car so I am not able to take advantage of the BSD but the ADAS works like a charm. It was extremely easy to install, and the Wi-Fi connectivity works flawlessly. Review of recordings is fairly easy and clear. My only complaint would be the mounting locations for the rear camera if used on the interior of the car. I was limited in getting the angle of the camera in order to see what I wanted in the rear. I also had a minor issue with the mounting on my existing mirror. I had to offset it a little to the right of the mirror because of the camera location. this works great for some cars but when I tried to install in my Suburban, the camera was blocked by the mirror no matter how I tried to install. I wish they made a version where can move the camera to fit various sized mirrors. You can't beat the price on this camera, especially for what all it does. Great value for the money.

I give it four stars only because I have another one. It’s a different brand. I only paid 100 for it and it’s got navigation and everything that’s the only thing I wish this one had for the price you figure it would, but it is a good product, no problems as of yet I just wish it was a little cheaper like the other one that has more to it than this one.

I am testing the waters with dash cams, and on my 2019 Nissan Frontier I have added this and all I can say is wow what an amazing product. Having a live video rearward from the rear dashcam is incredibly helpful for things beyond an accident, and the way the entire unit works feels so slick and polished I honestly don't know why an OEM hasn't bought this company out and integrated this product into their cars. It is incredibly well thought out, and the 4K camera is absolutely amazing and interacting the the mirror and adding the lane assist and blind spot monitoring to a vehicle that doesn't have it is incredible to me. They gave plenty of cable, particularly for the rear where I had to run it through the length of the cab and under the bed to the rear tailgate. I had purchased longer cable, but turned out what they provided gave me about 4-6" extra length so otherwise it was perfect for my application. If you don't know you can also buy adapters to replace your actual mirror with this unit, and I highly recommend that option. I think it would look goofy and not work as seamlessly if it had to sit in front of my existing mirror, but buying the mirror post adapter as well makes it all look integrated like it came with the truck, and the mirror size was perfect for my frontier it has a nice large screen but leaves about 3/4" between the visors and the mirror, really making it look like it could have come from the factory.My only complaint, and its really not a complaint but just a fact of this product, is that the rear camera really is not all that great at night. Its pretty grainy and the light starbursts a lot so its hard to see what it is behind you. That being said I deliberately did not go for the top end model because I didn't want to be into the system for a ton of money to find out it didn't work well or I didnt like it and this particular model was a really good black Friday deal so it was perfect for what I needed it to do and the budget I was working with. Hindsight being 20/20 now that I know how stellar this really is I would buy the highest level model they offer because the front camera is amazing in virtually all conditions and I believe its the same camera for the rear if you get the top end model. I am going to install another one of these cameras this year on another car and I will follow my own advise and get the top-of-the-line, but i am plenty happy with this one as is and have no plans to replace it anytime soon.Excellent product all around.

Bought a new GMC Canyon AT4X that has the spare tire installed in the bed of the truck. Of course, you cannot see out of the rear view mirror so this dash cam not only functions as my rear view mirror but also as a high quality dash cam! Brightness might be an issue if you do not have tinted windows but it was fine before and after my tint.
